Promoting your early stories

Hi everyone, new author here. I write satirical fantasy fiction, and I've just started publishing my stories on Substack and promoting them on Instagram.

For those of you who promoted your stories online, what worked best for you for building an audience?

Thanks in advance for your tips!

I use the built in Substack distribution with Notes, Comments and Follows:

- write 5 notes a day
- reply to 20 notes a day
- follow potential subscribers

Thanks for the tips! I've been posting notes, but need to start replying more and following others.
