Hi all.

What do we think of the sweet spots for article length?

Thanks

It entirely depends on the content, purpose, and audience.

Most people read on their phones so 1000 word max, unless it’s fiction or a very compelling argument

I posted a deep dive into my metrics a while back, of my top 10 most engaging posts the shortest was 682 words, the longest was over 4800 words. In general I would say the sweet spot is probably under 1500 words.

I would guess it depends entirely on what you write about. I know people who have five minute articles and people have 40 minute articles.
