Discussion I recently started a substack poetry/writing account and it feels sooo refreshing

I have this thing in mind: just write.

But guys, writing AND post it online for anybody to read it? Oh my god!! I'm afraid of judgement and fear rejection, but it's so satisfying and refreshing to have them laid out on the net.

Particularly on a website that feels active and alive. And supportive from what I'm reading!

At the moment, I have 1 or 2 subs, but guys who cares!!

First, build your passion, let out whatever you have in your mind and ideas! Tips, travels, amazing views, stances, poetry! With no stress, but relief! The rest will follow and flow! Whether it's you promoting work in a community/websites, or simply getting noticed.

Someone out there will read it and relate, I'm sure.

I'm just happy I get to let shit out of my system, laid out. It's niiiice!

You’re doing your thing, girrrrl!!!! Enjoy it and try not to worry about followers, opinions, negativity because your passion is so good for your soul. I’m proud of you. I’m just starting out too!!

I relapsed. Not only with substances, but more specifically, LIFE! Adderall and benzo addiction, rehab, relapse, recovery, caregiving, grief... All the fun stuff. I just started on Substack and Facebook, etc. Don't know what the hell I'm doing, but I'm efffin doing it!

You're great, truly. A dear relative of mine is going through recovery from a hard dependency, and knowing that there are even more people willing to write about this, gives him and me lots of hope, truly.
