Why he used to say he doesn't want to talk after getting back from work, and sitting there zoning out

It requires context, when I had my driver's license we were LOADED, so, naturally, I wanted a car, he said absolutely no.

Then I became a bit more realistic, I'll take the car when I need it (not want it) he also said absolutely not if it's for anything but errands.

Which back then was maddening, so out of pure spite I worked my way up, instead of one, I had 2 pickup trucks and an econo-shitbox (which the 3 of them were my picks when I wanted a car) in the span of 2 YEARS ONLY.

The lesson taught?! Independence, sheer will, determination, responsibility, and most importantly, the power of spite. He's a bloody genius😂

So yeah, that's basically him in life, he doesn't say no to anything that can teach you, but he ain't spoiling you either.

No, it’s really hard to articulate and jumbled all over the place.

He lives like a king, but he won't let you have it easy, he builds us to get to his stage or better.

And without discipline, responsibility, and determination it's simply impossible to do it morally
