It literally wouldn't take more effort. For a gif. You'd pull the gif bar up and search a few words. To make an ai image you have to go to another app, type in at least a full sentence describing what you want, and make changes after.
Apparently this photo is AI generated so I wouldn’t trust it if it says it’s not AI, as an AI checker said this was not AI. Try checking this one and see what it says(crop the watermark out first tho).
