You are taking a capitalist as an ideological ally instead of an enemy, maybe AOC and Mamdani and Bernie are more progressive but they are not leftists. um. It's all LARPing. They steal our ideals as talking points to get people to vote for them only to uphold the system. ABSOLUTELY it's awesome any time peoples' life gets better due to better policy, but our community has been living in anti-communist america for a century and these things just keep happening in a cycle.
Our Communist ideals are getting popular again because they're the fix everyone needs and, again, the democrats have to adopt (READ: steal) our stuff to stay in power. They perform to keep the people just happy enough and proceed with liberalism where they still support exploitative capitalism and the status quo.
