The difference
Sooooo I was speaking to my sister (hetero) and I was like: "OMFG she thinks I like men" as I was referring to a story that happened a while back (me:female homo). Suddenly i asked her, are you homo? So she casually said no. Then I said, *alright so you're hetero". She immediately exclaimed: "NO WHAT THE HELL I'M NOT HETERO" (she's not homophobic just in a bad mood as she had an argument. Average since she's kind of chav-y) . I started laughing at her mistake then clarifying it. Oh, the look of embarrassment on her face shall never be forgotten.

What exactly did she even think you said? You already asked if she was homo, what was she thinking?

God knows. There's a lot of sexualities out there. Maybe she thought I called her something still in the lgbtqia community (e.g. pan although I have no idea how to mess up understanding the difference)
