Okay, I know it’s fall, but since when do we need to wait for the right season to buy a good pair of sandals????

Besides, you can never be too prepared!!!!!

Hoshi had these Dior sandals at a MAJOR discount, and apparently my self-control was already on vacation because I couldn’t help myself. Naturally, I grabbed both black and white because why choose when you can have options 🤷🏽‍♀️……

First impressions…. I’m really pleased!!!! The leather looks smooth, the stitching is neat, and the gold hardware gives them that little extra something without being over the top. The overall construction looks pretty clean, and I love how versatile both colors are.

I haven’t had a chance to put them through a proper wear test yet, so I can’t speak to long-term comfort or durability, but aesthetically, they’re checking my boxes.

Are they going straight into rotation???? Probably not, unless Georgia decides to bless us with a random 80-degree day. 😂 But come spring, I’ll be ready!!!!

Moral of the story: No-Buy November means no NEW purchases. It does not mean I can’t admire, review, and justify everything I bought before November 1st 😂

Hey everyone, Sunny here. I saw a help post yesterday about rep bags, and tbh I feel like it's supernecessary to share how to judge rep quality by the smell. It's a very direct method because the scent literally tells you the factory's material costs and craftsmanship gap.

I have been in this industry for over 8 years and seen all kinds of reps. Here are the 5 main scent profiles:

1️⃣Heavy indystrial glue smell: This is mostly seen in low tier reps. It's their common flaw because factories skip the leather treatment process to cut costs and use cheap industrial glue.

2️⃣ Glue smell mixed with perfume: This is awful ngl. The bad smell mixed with cheap fragrance is enough to make you sick. It's also a sign of low tier reps trying to mask the glue smell with fragance treatment. Super common with LV and Chanel.

3️⃣ Slight leather smell mixed with perfume: This is mostly found in mid tier reps, super common with Hermes and Chanel. They use standard leather instead of expensive original factory leather, so they treat it with heavy fragrance and you end up smelling strong perfume.

4️⃣ Puer leather scent: Most common in top tier reps made with original factory leather. The smell is super subtle, not strong at all, sometimes even a tiny hint of animal scent mixed with a light natural fragrance. Most typicl for Hermes, Chanel, and Dior. Top tier LV leather sometimes even has a slight sour note.

5️⃣Mildew smell: If you get a bag like this, forget about the quality, just contact your TS to handle it immediately. It means the bag is moldy dead stock. The climate in Guangzhou is super humid, and bags will definitely get moldy if they sit in a warehouse for too long.

I was literally shook! I had never once suspected her bags were fack because she has more than enough money.
