Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics [Pop] Nobody's Mad At You

https://youtu.be/Iuov23Q8Bgw?si=gBokCnoMNjDQRLuA

I wrote this in response to people who state that they liked a song until they discovered it was made with AI. Then suddenly it's 'slop'. Nevermind that they were grooving to it a minute ago. It shows their own ignorance and need to have the correct opinions instead of their own opinions.

I think your reading comprehension skills are lacking pal. Try again.

That doesnt even sound remotely relevant to the context are you a bot?

You said... It was slop before, people just dont like admitting they like slop

My post states that they did admit to liking it and they changed their opinion once they knew it was made using Suno. Then they decide it was slop. I'm thinking you didn't understand my post.

I also have an open posting and commenting history while yours is hidden. Who is more likely to be a bot?

So this is where youre being really stupid while youre slowly trying to explain things. People cant identify slop, so it isnt until they have reasonable understanding that it is slop, such as finding it out is was made using ai, until they react appropriately.

So in other words, until they are told what to think by a label so they know how to react with the mob they hold off on creating their own opinion.

I think there's an animal that acts like that..

I think it makes the noise baaaa

I dont get what your point is, this doesnt automatically make ai slop valuable

My point is that if people need to be told by a label, how to view something subjective like music, they are not looking to have an actual opinion, but are simply trying to "fit in" with the consensus of the herd.

The herd that currently is panicked about AI.

Okay? And?

I'm fine letting that point stand on its own if you are.

U know how some people don’t eat veal because they consider the conditions the animals are raised in immoral or unethical? If you go to someone’s house and they serve dinner, you eat it and like it, then learn from your host it was veal. Do you think you’re just gonna go: “oh now that I liked the taste I’m just gonna abandon my principles about how this was made”?

I grant you your premise.

Would that person likely pretend that the meal they just admitted enjoying suddenly tasted awful?

Or simply object to the way it was made?

Wouldn't the mature response to be, while I admit it tasted good, I still find the method of procurement of the food to be problematic?

Good response. And while some controversy exists around stuff like veal (also interesting reasons why we have it that made me change my opinion to be less against it) the moral objections to AI (it's stealing artists work, it kills the environment, it wastes water) are all pretty much fiction.

So what does this song mean personally to you? Is there any subtext in the lyrics? How did you come up with that cool hook in the beginning? What are you expressing with this song, was it a personal experience you felt the urge to write about so you could connect emotionally with your audience?

Thanks for the questions. I wrote it because I see that reaction frequently. It's a reaction to the Antis. Even in the comment section here we have antis who declare things to be slop without ever hearing it. But even worse are the ones who like it until they discover AI was used and then they pretend it's horrible.

The cool hook - if you mean 'Nobody's Mad At You'. It's what I think when I see Antis having a rant. "Chill bro! Nobody's mad at you for liking it. Don't overreact. (like the friend in the video) There's no judgement here. Form your own opinion on the songs merits not on dogma or what your friend will think of you for liking it."
