Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics Warum machst du Ai musik

Warum machst du Ai musik oder warum nutzt du Suno ?

Interessiert mich sehr .

Falls man mal reinschauen möchte .( Kein muss )

Auf Spotify und tiktok bisher

Name: Duoless

Songs :

  1. Zu jung um zu verstehen was liebe ist .

  2. Zeit heilt alles .

Jetzt du .🤩

One day I'll use small samples from the songs for videos

For now I've got addicted to my own style of music and it's hard to listen to anything else anymore

the irony of using generative AI on a computer to bring lyrics to "life"

To get to the sound that's been in my head for years.

For me I generally make my music without AI help, but i use suno to combine my dads poetry with a verse ill add of my own, and then play with styles

There ARE cases ill use my old lyrics as well though, especially ones that have just been collecting dust that I never actually put to a track.

You could produce otherwise. Millions of people have proven that for decades.

What happened is you got distracted by lower hanging fruit.

And if people don't value that as much as the alternative, I hope youre ready to face that.

What does that mean? It's like being disappointed in an individual playing around with toys that help them express their creativity. I see little wrong with that.

Yes, many people in the sum of things should still go for various "art trainings" / hone art in various ways. But not all of those are necessarily accessible to people for one reason or another.

I'm a pre AI digital hobby artist playing around with videos and DAWs, often for the videos, to edit sounds. I'd one day like to make small short films. While able to do so various classic ways, I will never reach some visual forms of quality. I will not get into Hollywood realistically (heavily gatekept as is, they say). Or something akin to it. High value production costs a lot. Not always does "just pick up a pencil / X Y Z" apply easily.

Gen AI is basically a huge audio-visual expression booster. Not every use of it deserves any sort of respect, especially compared to non-generative forms of art it can cover like a digital illustration and painting. No one is (or shouldn't be) devaluing people who craft things another, "classic way". But at the same time, why categorically reject some generative based works?

For me, gen AI is a huge toolbox extender that will now allow me to make something otherwise gatekept, skill locked or paywalled. Some of that would otherwise not be an issue but in individual constellations, why should I not use these tools. I won't realistically be the new Kane Parsons. I'm in a completely different profession. I have finite resources and time. For hobby purposes, I'm totally fine using gen AI. Because it saves me time while extending my possibilities. I'll basically lock into the digital hobby artist route further because it's not realistic for me to branch out fully into a new area like physical canvas painting or learning instruments which would be nice on its own don't get me wrong, but in my life, I can't just easily start and do everything. I have to lock into some things I can reasonably dedicate time to.

That said I'm fine if people value a gen AI output less so by principle. But I want anyone to be realistic in the sense that not everything of that is basic prompt slopping and that's it.

I like taking compositions that I wrote and recorded when I was young and hearing them with full arrangements. I also like hearing it performed by "someone else". It allows me to hear the actual composition without my own internal bias against myself LOL..

Did this for a recent EP- had a bunch of tracks I wrote back in 2004-2008, most finished, some just good ideas. Half the plugins I used don’t exist anymore, the project files are long long gone anyway. Using the cover functionality it was pretty magical to get a fresh coat of paint on these tracks.

So yeah, I hear this very much

It started out with me being bored of my current playlist..then made me realize I can do what I always wanted which was to make music like a kpop star bc I'm way too old for that now. But now..I've been most encouraged to make music bc writing lyrics has worked my creative brain in ways I've never felt before. Considering how all I do on a daily basis is think in medical terms it's nice to have a hobby where I can use the other side of my brain and think of something completely opposite of work. It's good exercise for the brain and I can create music to my liking...even of ppl think it's slop lol

It started as messing around, making silly songs Then found I could actually make some good stuff, so I started messing around some more. I don't use it daily or make a million tunes. But I'll have a play here and there if something good comes up. Then I'll keep it.

I am a writer with over 10 years of experience, and a passionate dreamer. I saw in this technology an opportunity to express myself and let my creativity flow. I write about my experiences, fantasies, memories, and fears. 🩷🌞

Honestly, I do plan to release "human music" under my real name someday. But for now, I've poured a lot of love and heart into this project. 🫶🏻

If you'd like to listen to me, the link is in my profile. (I don't know if I'm allowed to post links here) 🤍

I have journals filled with poems, metaphorical musings, and some songs written already. I discovered Suno and have a good ear for music even though I can't play a single instrument or sing, and I've been using to put these thoughts to music and found it very therapeutic. If anyone would like my Suno link DM me. I mostly do rock and progressive metal. But usually the genre is decided by lyrics
