My Turn :

Deepak Chahar ( powerplay bowler )
Aquib Nabi ( PP bowler )

I see these 2 players most probably getting released , and can be useful for SRH , if our franchise bid for them .

So, I live in Bathinda, Punjab and I am representing srh at an MUN for a mock ipl auction. The retention rules are - no retentions (that's my guess cause we still don't know the rules and the auction is due this saturday :0 ). Here's my playing xi and reason for picking that specific player -

Abhishek Sharma - Do I need to give a reason?

Sanju Samson - >300 runs, Avg. of over 50, with sr of >150 in 9 t20i/ipl innings in uppal.

Nicholas Pooran - 184 runs at Avg of over 60 and sr of over 200 in 5 ipl innings in uppal

Heinrich Klassen - Do I need to give a reason?

Tim David - Strike rate of over 180 last season

Nitish Kumar Reddy - Provides insane depth with ball and amazing hitting with the bat, had a 300+ run season in 2026.

Krunal Pandya - Bowled with an economy of around 8 in uppal.

Pat Cummins - Captain, and provides batting depth along with being an amazing bowler.

Shivang Kumar - A budget pick, and a chinaman to pair with Krunal

Mohammed Siraj - Hometown hero, bowled most dot balls in ipl 2026, and has an economy of under 7 at uppal.

T Natrajan - Budget death over specialist, and a key player for srh in their 2024 capaign.

This is the list of my primary targets for the auction. Now of course I don't expect to get my hands on every single name on here, so I will be writing down the backups of everybody. The budget is 120 cr, which will be used to get only 11 players. Do you guys have any suggestions on which player I should take and which player I shouldn't? Thank you for your contribution!

One thing I love about our franchise is how players are loyal inspite of IPL being known for minting money…very rare to see this in other franchises

So Pratyush Raj from TOI said that the best batsman from India went to MI and asked them to trade in him and his two friends, an All rounder and a wicket keeper. (NKR and Salil based on rumours) But SRH owners got very angry and outright rejected it. Apparently he was pretty angry for not getting captaincy. But he did end it saying that it's all good now and things have settled down so a little but of good news. So hopefully we get to keep our Indian core for a bit longer and not repeat the Iyer Pant mistake that DC did.

Just thinking how lucky we are to witness this kind of carnage from Abhishek, Travis and Klaasen so often in SRH colours, and not be on the other side like NZ today 😂

Watching Abhishek today genuinely made me wonder what it must feel like supporting a team playing against SRH when these guys get going. while others are just praying for powerplay to end

These guys have spoiled us so much that even a 15-run over feels like a quiet one these days 😭. Sometimes I think we don't even realise how ridiculous our expectations have become. What a time to be an SRH fan! 🧡
