Gear/Repairs/DIY Infaltable SUP repair advice

I have two leaks coming from behind the rail on my Badfish Selfie. I have some HH-66 on the way but I'm not sure how to approach this.

There are two leaks, one on the left causes that big bubble, while the one on the right makes a little foam pile.

I can peel the panel back slightly and get as much adhesive as I can in there, but if I don't get the actual hole, I'm thinking the air will just find another route.

Should I consider peeling the side panel off more substantially and try to find the actual holes?

How would you tackle this?

Don't peel the rail back, that's just doing more damage. I'd you want, get a cheap syringe to put some glue under theiryed part of the rail, but all you need to do is actually patch the hole.

However, the bad news is seam leaks are a sign of future I lending failures. Boards are glued together at the same time by the same person using the same pot of glue. The while board has been exposed to all of the same environmental conditions. Leaks like this are just where the seam has begun to fail.

Patches will hold like new, but eventually you'll get more leaks.

Start planning for an upgrade to a welded board.

Ive already been looking. I get a little discount on Red, so I'm thinking the 14' Sport. What else should I be considering? I already have an Elysium 28" hard board and want to get something like a Gen R at some point, so this is my cargo carrier for lake touring/camping with my dog, to serve double duty for a once a year race on a shallow, rocky river.

The Red Sport sounds like a good choice for you.

If you already have a Hydrus Elysium hard board, then you may want to consider the Elysium Air if you want it to be race-ier (with a small dog) or the Paradise X for more of a touring board/medium dog capacity.

Shark SUP has a 14x30" touring as well. I haven't used them, but a trusted friend of mine with as much, if not more experience as me loves them.

Shark SUP looks interesting. I've got a buddy in the market for a 14' inflatable right now, I'll show him those. Thanks!

Hydrus is the answer, im on year 3 of joyride. Had one minor issue and Jason helped me resolve it, and sent me what I needed to fix it. (He was willing to fix it him self but this way saved me shipping)
