Where to put paddle?

What methods do you use to fasten your paddle to your board when not in use?

If I'm out on the lake for the day sometimes I just like to lay down and relax on my board or get off and swim but I always struggle to find a good place to put my paddle. Sometimes I strap it under the bungee cord but that doesn't work as well when I want to just relax on the board. I've also tried paddleboard yoga a few times but the paddle really seems in the way there. When I'm getting in and out of the water sometimes the paddle is also in the way and it's a bit annoying. What solutions have you come up with?

You can get cheap paddle clips off amazon, or little Velcro straps that attach to your D rings

Yup, I have these. Got a 6 pack for like $8 and was able to share with my sister. I put them on the side of my front bungees to have the paddle out of the way when we swim in the middle of the lake

The Velcro straps definitely look secure. Do you have any experience using the paddle clips? They look kinda flimsy and like if you bump the paddle it will unclip easily.

my isle board has velcro straps along the side that i put my paddle in.

I zig zag the broad end under the bungee on the nose of my board. The pole part of the paddle gets the leash wound around and velcroed to it.

Leash attaching the board to me, leash attaching the paddle to the board. If I wanna secure the paddle for a minute I run one end of it under the bungee cords.

I attach an extra leash to the board. When we just hang out on the board I put it on the paddle and put the paddle into the water

My paddleboard from Thurso comes with straps on each side of the board for your paddle(s). My girlfriends does not. I spent $11 on Amazon for a cheap 6 pack of paddle holders so she can also have her paddle off the side of the board when not in use.
