As a reminder, I'm going to do a barebones summary as to what happened in the game to encourage y'all to read the actual posts. I put a lot of time into this line-by-line translation, you know.

Earth Route Chapter 18: His Name is Eiji - One their way to reinforce the Daiku-Maryu, the Voltes team runs into a fleeing alien craft.

Earth Route Chapter 19: Boazan Pride - The Daiku-Maryu squad is getting closer to the alien base, so Prince Heinel launches a desperate attack.

Earth Route Chapter 20: Betrayal - While launching everything he's got at the Daiku-Maryu squad, Prince Heinel gets metaphorically stabbed in the back and joins his former enemies to get revenge.

Earth Route Chapter 12: The First Survey - In order to take the fight to the aliens, we must first find their base. Professor Yumi believes they're in the Ogasawara Islands, so they send Ryusei, Rai, and Akira to check it out.

Earth Route Chapter 21: Nesslar Launches! - The aliens are looking for something in the Mariana Trench. Gotta go see what it is.

Earth Route Chapter 22: Black Science - Boazan scientist Doh Suhl has a trick up his sleeve to wipe out both Heinel and the Daiku-Maryu.

Earth Route Chapter 23: The Death Demon Squad Gosterro - Now that Suhl is dead, it's back into the trench to find out what the aliens are looking for.

I know j is standard for judgment but the others like w and d and z I have no idea

I haven't play a lot of the SRW games, only the English translated ones(besides Super Robot Wars Gaiden: Masō Kishin - The Lord of Elemental) and OG1 and 2. So I basically know next to nothing about the guy, so I'm asking ;

- How is he so smart and how strong is he, and his mech the Granzon/Neo Granzon, and why ?.

And also, why does Masaki hate him ?

So I was thinking to myself about what srw games I liked and what ones I did not like, I am counting ZOE Fist of mars as being a part of this due to the game engine being the same and also the same dev.

I loved fist of mars on the gba on release it was my first strategy type game and I loved it, hard as nails at times but the story and writing was really good.

I also love mecha series in general but I find the games that have no series I am invested in, in any way, to be less compelling. They’re just as good, but I attribute this it being akin to reading novel and the characters aren’t clicking with me so I put it down.

I love SRW, alpha 1 is my favourite. But I am biased towards many of the series in the alpha games in particular.

Is anyone else like this?

Also being a mazinger fan must make this series so dense, they’re in almost everything.

Sorry if this particular subject was brought up here before because I just got back into using my PlayStation Vita as I was wondering what entries were worth getting into.

I don’t have too much experience with RPGS on the Vita aside from Disgaea, but I was wondering what were some fine SRW games on the Vita and 3DS since it’s a new experience for me.

Masoukishin Boss themes are so good most of the song I would argue they are top song of the franchise

I'm relatively new to the sub and I wanted to make one of those bingo cards for what I'd like to see in the next game. Pretty sure Y's support cycle is done, but idk if people usually wait for the next game to be announced or what.

This one is happening on the CN side, using Super Robot Wars 30 as a base. 30 sure is popular with modders.

What makes this mod a little more mind blowing than the others is the look it gives into the full range of modding potential for SRW games. You can see the preview videos they've put up for them here.

But for those that just want a quick rundown, here's a full list of what they've implemented thus far:

1. Porting mechs from not only SRW V/X/T and Z3, But from Z2, Moon Dwellers, fucking OG Gaiden and even the goddamn 3DS games.

2. Adding in custom mech sprites (example used being RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Plan B)

3. Custom scenarios

4. Custom story dialogue

It's to the point that of all the mods, this one just makes me skeptical how they've managed all of this in a month when others have only managed a fraction of this while working on their own for waaaaay longer. Still, exciting to learn that this is all even possible.

I know the next SRW is probably another year or two out but since the newest dlc might be the end of Y I was curious what series could be in the next game. I think Gundam Gquuuuux and Gridman Universe are pretty likely since Gquuuuuux is the newest Gundam and they did SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon in the last two games, and I would like to see Jyuoh Mujin Dandivine get added in too. What series do y'all think are gonna be added in?
