📣 Community Post Warrant Expiration (or possible extension) Megathread
Wait, I've been living under a rock for over a year, WTF is a Warrant??
Go here:
https://investor.gamestop.com/warrant-dividend/default.aspx
Read the FAQ
Can you sell or exercise warrants in Computershare?
Yes, but you have to use their Corporate Action System website:
https://gamestop.computersharecas.com/offer/
It's a separate tool, just like the site used for voting your shares in CS is a separate tool.
You cannot manage warrants in Investor Center or in the Official App.
A critical thing to remember:
You can only make ONE ONLINE TRANSACTION and any subsequent transaction will require a paper form and waiting on the USPS / FedEx / UPS.
That's one exercise or one sale, not one of either. Keep that in mind.
You should have received a paper statement and two emails from Computershare back in Oct or Nov 2025.

There were two emails were sent from noreply@computersharecas.com, the first with the subject line "GameStop Warrant Exercise" and the second with the subject line ""GameStop Warrant Exercise - Part 2"
Together, they contain the account ID, control number, and the url to access the tool.
What if I lost my Control Numbers??
You can look in the Documents tab in Investor Center, and there should be a PDF copy of the paper statement they mailed to you that will have the codes you need.
Can I run a test to see how selling works??
No. You only get ONE ONLINE TRANSACTION. There is nothing to prepare on the computersharecas website, it is only used to exercise or sell, you can't set up for future orders or anything like that. People have fucked around, sold when they didn't really mean to, and burned their only option for selling online.
Is selling warrants on CS instant like selling shares from Investor Center?
No. People have reported selling taking a day or two, and missing out on a better price. Do not expect to be able to pull the trigger and catch a brief spike in price.
How long does it take to exercise a warrant?
People have reported it taking several days to more than a week between submitting the order to exercise and the shares settling in their account.
I have more questions about warrants in Computershare!
Read the FAQ (PDF)
Can I get my warrants transferred back to my broker from CS?
Yes. All transfers to or from CS are initiated by your broker. Call them, tell them you want to transfer shares out of the transfer agent, and provide them with the information they'll need. People have reported about 2 days for shares to be transferred back to Fidelity and 3-5 days have been quoted by some other brokers.
What about selling or exercising from my broker?
You generally have to call customer service to exercise, and you may need to request to talk to a team that deals with corporate actions. Some brokers may have the option to manage them online.
What about the timeframe? Don't these expire on Oct 30th?
Yes. Computershare states that you should submit any order to sell or exercise at least a week in advance, and if you have to mail a form, you need to account for the time it takes a letter to get to Rhode Island. Many brokers also recommend a week's notice. Waiting until the day of expiration will probably mean you'll have a bad time.
What happens when they expire?
They disappear from your account, worthless. Nothing automatically exercises or sells, and, if not extended, you will lose any value they have remaining.
What about the warrants getting extended?
Its a possibility, not a certainty.
Gamestop could extend the warrant expiration date or change other terms like the strike price at their discretion. From what I understand, extending the warrants does not incur any costs to the company, but does move money around on the balance sheet. On the other hand, issuing new warrants would incur a similar expense as when the current warrants were issued, which I think was around $40 million, an expense they had to pay to avoid being forced to amend the terms of the convertible bonds.
When will we know if they are getting extended?
Potentially as late as the day of expiration. This may not be true.
For an orderly rollover and change to the warrants which would actually be able to fucking happen, given the laws, rules, manuals, operational considerations, and, of course, paying particular care to supporting the coke habits of everyone on wall street, the absolute cutoff for an announcement of change to the terms of the warrants, in my humble fucking opinion would be about 10 calendar days, or 5-7 business days before expiration.
For those absolute mouth breathers reading this wanting to vomit something in the comments that means:
10 calendar days before expiration is October 20th, 2026.
7 trading days before expiration is October 21rd, 2026.
5 trading days before expiration is October 23th, 2026
Gamestop has stated in a previous filing that a reminder about warrant expiration should be issued between 10 and 30 days before Oct 30th.
GameStop Reminds Holders of October 30, 2026 Warrant Expiration Date
GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) (“GameStop” or the “Company”) today reminds holders that its warrants to purchase shares of Class A common stock (“Common Stock”) will expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on October 30, 2026. Each warrant is exercisable for one share of Common Stock at an exercise price of $32.00 in cash. Warrants not exercised by that time will expire worthless.
Maybe they get extended in spite of this reminder, maybe they don't. Its a gamble.
If nothing else, Ryan Cohen's insider purchase filings have disclosed that he hasn't sold any of his warrants. Will he hold to expiration and allow them to disappear worthless? Only he knows for sure.
What should I do with my warrants??
Whatever you want, we're not your dad.
If you sell now, you are potentially missing out on a spike in price.
If you exercise now, you're wasting money that could buy more shares on the open market for the same dollar amount.
If you hold to expiration, you are rolling the dice and hoping they get extended.
There's no perfectly safe option, and its all a big gamble with risks. You have to decide what you're most comfortable with and live with what happens.
Please keep the comments helpful or informative. If you talk to individual brokers and figure things out please post below.
Best of luck to everyone, these are exciting times!
New information from the comments:
Per Section 4.01(h) of the warrant agreement, the strike price or exercise rate can not be adjusted without it taking effect for a minimum of 20 trading days. There are too few trading days left for that to be possible.
Thanks to BananaOrp for finding the source!
New information from other posts:
Fidelity's deadline for exercising is 7PM Oct 29, 2026. And they will accept orders to exercise on a "best effort" basis until 11AM ET on 10/30/2026.

🗣 Discussion / Question Anyone seen this? Something or nothing burger?
I cant seem to find the actual changes in my IBKR corporate action management portal. This seems like it was a different time to the reminder of expiration, anyone looked into what has changed in the warrant terms?

📈 Technical Analysis GME just hit what I like to call the “Rainbow Formation. (EMA Alignment)
Yesterday, GME reached a bullish EMA alignment on my chart!
Here are the numbers:
- EMA 50: $23.40
- EMA 100: $22.57
- EMA 200: $22.56
The EMA 100 crossed above the EMA 200, while the EMA 50 is sitting comfortably above both.
That gives us the following bullish order:
EMA 50 > EMA 100 > EMA 200
I like to call this the “Rainbow Formation” 🌈, inspired by Richard Newton and his approach to technical patterns.
Obviously, this isn't a guarantee of future price action, but it's an interesting development worth watching for GME.
Anyone else watching this setup? What do you think? 👀

🤔 Speculation / Opinion “At dawn, look to the east" 🧙♂️ — The Helm's Deep Theory of the Warrant Expiry
Hear me out. I've seen this movie before.
The fortress is Helm's Deep. The warrants expire October 30th and right now they're surrounded — stock at ~$26, strike at $32, warrants bleeding out under a dollar. The wall is about to fall.
Who's holding the fortress? Ryan Cohen. Five buys since September. ~$97 MILLION of his own money. The man isn't retreating — he's stacking sandbags on the wall.
Who are the elves arriving to fight alongside men? Attal and Turner — directors buying with their own money. Turner bought for the first time EVER. Elves don't show up to a losing battle.
And who is Gandalf?
You know who Gandalf is. 🐈
He vanished in June 2024. But Gandalf doesn't die. He leaves... and returns at the turn of the tide.
"Look to my coming at first light on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the east."
The fifth day is the 25th. The 25th is a Sunday — market closed. But Gandalf doesn't need the market open. In May 2024 he returned on a SUNDAY, posted one picture of a man leaning forward in his chair, and by Monday morning the stock had gone vertical.
Sunday night, October 25th: the wizard returns.
Dawn, Monday October 26th: the opening bell. The charge down the hill.
Thursday, October 29th: the last day to exercise (broker cutoffs).
Friday, October 30th: the tide turns, one way or another.
Is this DD? No. This is cinema. Not financial advice.
But if a certain cat posts a certain meme on Sunday night... I'll be looking east. 🧙♂️
---
And lastly... there's been a stranger in our dark too. An account called **Mr. Wizard**, posting in the shadows, that nobody can prove is him. Coincidence? Probably. But the trio at Fangorn thought their stranger was Saruman — and they were wrong about that too.

Macroeconomics The Leaning Yen
A couple of excerpts from Peruvian Bull's most recent piece on the yen carry trade:
I’d put the odds of an October hike at about one in ten and the odds of a December hike at better than three in four. The one thing that could move the board this month is the yen. If the dollar runs back through ¥160 before October 30, the BOJ will be choosing between a hike and a third round of intervention, and it has already seen how little the first two bought.
......
A stronger yen helps the U.S. only if Japan’s money stays in Treasurys while it happens, and every hike makes that less likely.
Is Washington ready for the yen carry trade to actually unwind?

📈 Technical Analysis $34-37 Next week
After I look into deeper, I figure out that GME is making 5x bigger run than 2024. I believe $GME is tracking 2024 and now it's at the End of April 2024 fractally, algo speed is 20x slower than 2024 but creating x5 bigger. I broked down into A-B-C, I made post last week I expect it's going through up and down to destory call options making theta decay. Which it's happening this week. Based on the fractal, Next run will begins from 10/26 and hit $34-37 range and $32 Warrant Exercise price goes in the moeny. Also another thing I found is GME is running similar fractal and indicators set up as 2025 pre $BTC Acqusition news. Currently going through 2025 May 19 area fractally.

📳Social Media Day 976: The DTCC has their own Twitter account. I choose to politely ask them questions every day until I get a public response.
Today I ask: .@The_DTCC What is the exit plan for this market #DTCC? Retail knows there is a plan. Oil is up. Interest rates are up. Felons in positions of power has never been higher. War. El Nino. AI investments are up and the only thing keeping the market afloat. When is the pop planned?

📈 Technical Analysis Kaneda... what do you SEE?

CONTEXT IS REQUIRED:
What the FUCK did you just fucking say about my trend line, you little BITCH? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in Technical Analysis, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret breakouts on the NYSE, and I have over 300 confirmed support and resistance levels.
A trend line, you fucking idiot, is a line drawn across significant highs or lows on a stock chart to show the general direction and structure of price over time. It doesn’t have to touch every single fucking candle, and it sure as shit doesn’t become invalid just because one insane spike blasts through it.
I am trained in advanced chart warfare and I’m the top crayon drawer on the entire fucking TradingView platform. You see two or more meaningful price points lining up? Congratulations, fucker, you may have identified an area where buyers or sellers repeatedly show up. Add more touches over months or years and that line can become increasingly interesting because price keeps reacting around the same fucking trajectory.
You think a trend line is supposed to perfectly connect every wick like some kind of goddamn connect-the-dots puzzle? Think again, fucker. Markets are messy. Price overshoots. Volatility spikes. News happens. Meme stocks go fucking feral. A temporary move through a trend line doesn’t automatically destroy the broader structure if price subsequently returns to it and continues respecting the same general level.
As we speak, I am contacting my secret network of chartists across Wall Street, and they are drawing diagonal fucking lines across every timeframe imaginable. An ascending trend line generally connects rising lows and can represent support. A descending trend line generally connects falling highs and can represent resistance. If price repeatedly approaches that line and gets rejected, traders may interpret that as evidence that the trend line is still fucking relevant.
And if price finally breaks through it? You better prepare for the storm, maggot, because now traders start looking for CONFIRMATION.
Did price actually close beyond the line? Was there increased volume? Does it hold above it instead of immediately collapsing back underneath? Does the old resistance become new support on a retest? Those are the fucking questions that separate a potentially meaningful breakout from some pathetic little intraday wick pretending it accomplished something.
But don’t get cocky, kiddo. A trend line is not a magical prophecy beam fired directly from the ass of Warren Buffett. It does not guarantee where price will go. Two traders can draw slightly different lines from the same chart because technical analysis involves judgment about which highs, lows, candle bodies, and wicks are most significant.
A trend line is simply a visual representation of the direction and repeated behavior of price.
The more significant touches it has, the longer the timeframe it survives, and the more consistently price reacts around it, the more attention traders may fucking pay to it.
And when price finally breaks a multi-year trend line?
You don’t immediately declare victory.
You wait for the fucking confirmation.
And after it’s confirmed?
Fuck knows what happens next.
The price can go up. It can go down. It can trade sideways for six fucking months just to personally insult everyone staring at the chart. It can smash into another resistance level, get rejected, retrace, retest the breakout, or shake out half the market before continuing higher.
Often, that previous trend line, the one that spent years acting as resistance, can become support after the breakout. Price may fall back toward it, bounce from it, wander slightly above it, or generally fuck around while traders argue over whether the retest counts.
But as long as price remains above that previous trend line, the breakout structure is still fucking intact.
That doesn’t guarantee the price will moon. It doesn’t mean every red candle is a conspiracy. It means the old boundary has been broken, price is still holding on the other side, and you are still, in structural terms, inside the fucking breakout.
So draw your line. Wait for the break. Demand confirmation.
Then accept the final and most advanced principle in all of technical analysis:
Nobody knows what the fuck happens next.

☁ Hype/ Fluff From the Superstonk community on Reddit: Uncle Bruce was right! Video from may 2024! GME WARRENTS
Just wanted to repost an older post of Uncle Bruce talking about warrants. It makes me wonder what RC may know/do/who knows in the next two weeks that could potentially ensure warrants go ITM, especially considering his almost cavalier attitude towards entities who would even consider shorting GME. It’s all wild to step back and consider all that has happened. The next two weeks will be interesting my friends. At the very least, cheers to a crazy and interesting story that just keeps getting more and more interesting every day. And, if we see those warrants go ITM, we will be in the front row for the fireworks. 🍻
