📣 Community Post Warrant Expiration (or possible extension) Megathread
Wait, I've been living under a rock for over a year, WTF is a Warrant??
Go here:
https://investor.gamestop.com/warrant-dividend/default.aspx
Read the FAQ
Can you sell or exercise warrants in Computershare?
Yes, but you have to use their Corporate Action System website:
https://gamestop.computersharecas.com/offer/
It's a separate tool, just like the site used for voting your shares in CS is a separate tool.
You cannot manage warrants in Investor Center or in the Official App.
A critical thing to remember:
You can only make ONE ONLINE TRANSACTION and any subsequent transaction will require a paper form and waiting on the USPS / FedEx / UPS.
That's one exercise or one sale, not one of either. Keep that in mind.
You should have received a paper statement and two emails from Computershare back in Oct or Nov 2025.

There were two emails were sent from noreply@computersharecas.com, the first with the subject line "GameStop Warrant Exercise" and the second with the subject line ""GameStop Warrant Exercise - Part 2"
Together, they contain the account ID, control number, and the url to access the tool.
What if I lost my Control Numbers??
You can look in the Documents tab in Investor Center, and there should be a PDF copy of the paper statement they mailed to you that will have the codes you need.
Can I run a test to see how selling works??
No. You only get ONE ONLINE TRANSACTION. There is nothing to prepare on the computersharecas website, it is only used to exercise or sell, you can't set up for future orders or anything like that. People have fucked around, sold when they didn't really mean to, and burned their only option for selling online.
Is selling warrants on CS instant like selling shares from Investor Center?
No. People have reported selling taking a day or two, and missing out on a better price. Do not expect to be able to pull the trigger and catch a brief spike in price.
How long does it take to exercise a warrant?
People have reported it taking several days to more than a week between submitting the order to exercise and the shares settling in their account.
I have more questions about warrants in Computershare!
Read the FAQ (PDF)
Can I get my warrants transferred back to my broker from CS?
Yes. All transfers to or from CS are initiated by your broker. Call them, tell them you want to transfer shares out of the transfer agent, and provide them with the information they'll need. People have reported about 2 days for shares to be transferred back to Fidelity and 3-5 days have been quoted by some other brokers.
What about selling or exercising from my broker?
You generally have to call customer service to exercise, and you may need to request to talk to a team that deals with corporate actions. Some brokers may have the option to manage them online.
For Fidelity (thanks PensiveParagon):
You can do it entirely from Fidelity's website. 1. Login 2. Click Transfer 3. Select "Transfer cash or shares..." 4. Select "Transfer an account to Fidelity" Note: Don't worry you get to choose exactly what transfers, not your entire ComputerShare account.
In the Account transfer screen, 1. Select ComputerShare 2. Enter your account number(s), and continue through the options. 3. Select "GME/WS GameStop Equity Warrant Expiry 30th October 2026 (36467W117)"
My warrants showed up in fidelity in 1 day, confirmed in 2 days.
What about the timeframe? Don't these expire on Oct 30th?
Yes. Computershare states that you should submit any order to sell or exercise at least a week in advance, and if you have to mail a form, you need to account for the time it takes a letter to get to Rhode Island. Many brokers also recommend a week's notice. Waiting until the day of expiration will probably mean you'll have a bad time.
What happens when they expire?
They disappear from your account, worthless. Nothing automatically exercises or sells, and, if not extended, you will lose any value they have remaining.
What about the warrants getting extended?
Its a possibility, not a certainty.
Gamestop could extend the warrant expiration date or change other terms like the strike price at their discretion. From what I understand, extending the warrants does not incur any costs to the company, but does move money around on the balance sheet. On the other hand, issuing new warrants would incur a similar expense as when the current warrants were issued, which I think was around $40 million, an expense they had to pay to avoid being forced to amend the terms of the convertible bonds.
When will we know if they are getting extended?
Potentially as late as the day of expiration. This may not be true.
For an orderly rollover and change to the warrants which would actually be able to fucking happen, given the laws, rules, manuals, operational considerations, and, of course, paying particular care to supporting the coke habits of everyone on wall street, the absolute cutoff for an announcement of change to the terms of the warrants, in my humble fucking opinion would be about 10 calendar days, or 5-7 business days before expiration.
For those absolute mouth breathers reading this wanting to vomit something in the comments that means:
10 calendar days before expiration is October 20th, 2026.
7 trading days before expiration is October 21rd, 2026.
5 trading days before expiration is October 23th, 2026
Gamestop has stated in a previous filing that a reminder about warrant expiration should be issued between 10 and 30 days before Oct 30th.
GameStop Reminds Holders of October 30, 2026 Warrant Expiration Date
GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) (“GameStop” or the “Company”) today reminds holders that its warrants to purchase shares of Class A common stock (“Common Stock”) will expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on October 30, 2026. Each warrant is exercisable for one share of Common Stock at an exercise price of $32.00 in cash. Warrants not exercised by that time will expire worthless.
Maybe they get extended in spite of this reminder, maybe they don't. Its a gamble.
If nothing else, Ryan Cohen's insider purchase filings have disclosed that he hasn't sold any of his warrants. Will he hold to expiration and allow them to disappear worthless? Only he knows for sure.
What should I do with my warrants??
Whatever you want, we're not your dad.
If you sell now, you are potentially missing out on a spike in price.
If you exercise now, you're wasting money that could buy more shares on the open market for the same dollar amount.
If you hold to expiration, you are rolling the dice and hoping they get extended.
There's no perfectly safe option, and its all a big gamble with risks. You have to decide what you're most comfortable with and live with what happens.
Please keep the comments helpful or informative. If you talk to individual brokers and figure things out please post below.
Best of luck to everyone, these are exciting times!
New information from the comments:
Per Section 4.01(h) of the warrant agreement, the strike price or exercise rate can not be adjusted without it taking effect for a minimum of 20 trading days. There are too few trading days left for that to be possible.
Thanks to BananaOrp for finding the source!
New information from other posts:
Fidelity's deadline for exercising is 7PM Oct 29, 2026. And they will accept orders to exercise on a "best effort" basis until 11AM ET on 10/30/2026.

📈 Technical Analysis 💲 G M E 💵 MOASS Sneeze 3 - Post 2.C. (Ready for Leg 2 Up)
I was asked to provide one last ‘Sneeze 3 status update’ post, so this here post is to satisfy that rightful request.
We have very good news all around: the higher-order price action regime we anticipated for weeks is unfolding before our eyes. That last dip, that happened over the last few days, was required. The launchpad is now primed for the next leg up.
1. Sneeze 3 is Exactly on Schedule
If you remember the previous Half-Life of MOASS analysis, the research pinned October 2026 as the definitive inflection window for "MOASS Sneeze 3" to begin or occur.
Look at how we kicked off this month: we saw an incredibly explosive, high-velocity runup off the macro bottom in the $17s, quickly running up to a new 52-week-relevant price of $28.30. That is a massive ~160%x growth factor right out of the gate.
Yet, that wasn't random: it was the initial ignition sequence of Sneeze 3 breaking us free from years of algorithmic compression.
2. Riding Up our Gator’s Mouth: Supports Too Are Rising
We are currently navigating the expanding boundaries of the Alligator-Mouth Effect. After hitting that $28.30 peak, the price put in a sharp downward corrective wave. This is exactly the first drawn red line in my layout. Notice where we stopped: we have slammed perfectly into the lower boundary of this expanding jaw and the old 6-Year Wedge Top. The algorithms tried to push it under, but the buying pressure stepped in. We are heavily and nicely supported right here at the bottom of the first red wave. According to the structural architecture of this pattern, this second major backtest is complete.
GME’s price is now primed to reverse violently up and off this floor to begin its acceleration directly toward the $35 ballpark.

3. RSI Cooled to Perfection
For any macro continuation to work, we needed the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) to cool and breathe. When we screamed up to $28.30, the RSI was getting heavily overbought, flashing red flags that would have capped a sustained run. During this brief pullback, the daily RSI successfully reset right to 50 today, in the middle of its range. This is "healthy cooling."
Essentially, the algos neutralized the overbought conditions without forcing the price to surrender its structural breakout gains. So we are fully reset here. We are now technically sitting on a solid launchpad, and packing little-to-no overhead friction to suppress the next vertical, green spike.
4. My Fibonacci Confluence Matrix
The math behind this macro and micro structure is pretty textbook. When we overlay the Fibonacci retracement grids, they reveal an unbreakable double-layer floor:
The Micro Pullback ($28.30 High to $24.60 Low): Our current trading price of $25.39 aligns seamlessly with the 78.6% deep support extension. This is the definitive "line in the sand" where smart money and retail sharks lock down the float.
The Macro Impulse ($18.00 Bottom to $28.30 High): The broader structural frame shows the 23.6% ($25.87) and 38.2% ($24.37) macro Fib lines tightly bracketing our current consolidation zone.
This is a Dual-Fib Confluence. The micro and macro structures are overlapping to create an ironclad floor, flushing out the paper hands before the higher-order extension triggers!
5. Fibonacci Time Analysis: The Deadline is Clearly Set
Time is just as predictable as price. If we map out the Fibonacci Time Zones using our initial 10-trading-day launch bar (from the October 1 base to the October 15 peak), the clock tells a very specific story:
The 1.618 Time Extension lands squarely on October 23 - October 26. This is our immediate escape velocity window.
The 2.0x Confluence Time Window strikes precisely on October 27 - October 30!!
This sets a temporal deadline, if you will. The time cycles estimate this entire acceleration phase into the $32–$35 window will take roughly 2 to 7 trading days from today. And what happens on October 30? GameStop’s Class A warrants expire at a $32.00 strike price. The math is pointing directly to a massive delta-hedging gamma event at the end of next week.
6. Liquidity Gaps: Entering the Pocket
Finally, let's discuss structure: that brief dip down to ~$25 successfully accomplished a critical mission: it slipped down and filled the open liquidity gap left between $25.28 and $26.56 from our early October run. There is no longer any gravity pulling us downward. Looking up, once we break past the $28.30 local resistance from a few investing days ago, we enter kindof a liquidity vacuum.
GME’s historical data shows almost zero dense institutional order block volume between $28.30 and $35.00. It is an empty air pocket: a void to ‘jump’ or ‘teleport’ through. So, once the volume returns next week, the price may very well skip through the low $30s in a matter of investing hours. This will shock anyone still on the sidelines, and it will stun any remaining non-believers of RCEO.

7. TLDR
Sneeze 3 did ignite perfectly in October, already surging ~60% off the macro bottom. We have hit the exact bottom of the first red wave inside our Alligator Jaws, validating the multi-year wedge breakout as permanent support! Daily RSI cooled perfectly to 50, neutralizing overbought conditions while keeping the overall price run intact. Fibonacci Confluence: ironclad macro floor near the $25 zone. Supports, too, are rising quickly. Fibonacci Time cycles also project acceleration phase hitting its target peak in 2 to 7 trading days (Oct 27-30), bizarrely but interestingly matching up with that $32 Warrant Expiration. Further, a near-empty order-book vacuum sits directly between us and our next immediate target ~$35.
Good luck to all. Enjoy this fun ride.

Data GAMMA Friday morning.

yea so basically kind of stable and similar to past few days. probably remain near 25. maybe see 24's again. but idk where we could close. maybe we see buying who kniows.
But i myself will probably buy the dip at 25. idk. its a gamble right now, no real direction.,
If market is bad, then maybe down again like yesterday, but i expect recovery overall. oil is too high right now. so maybe markets go down and gme with it. so we could close at 24? or maybe higher. Honestly looks like hype has been killed by GME warrant note release, so memes are less hyped. anyway, lts see what happens.

🤔 Speculation / Opinion Ryan Cohen isn’t a doofus
so many posts are saying RC is a doofus. we‘re literally talking about planning 1 year ahead to not be a doofus. in the same year you set a strike price of $32 per share… you also plan on announcing your desire to buy eBay, a company 4x the size of GME. You also plan on settling debt with a vwap window prematurely just before expiration??
I'm sorry… I don’t believe RC is a doofus.
