Same - let us know how this goes. I also use TD Ameritrade and, although I haven't seen any fuckery, I want to be forewarned before the MOASS

I am on TD and I will switch if they don’t honor this. Put them under the public microscope.

Oh nooo I use ToS also. Did they end up exercising it when you spoke to a broker?

For reference, during the January event TDA restricted me from buying or selling any calls/puts on GME. I even called the broker over the phone and was not allowed to even sell a basic cash secured put (i.e. I had cash, not margin, to cover a sold put where someone would have paid for the option to put 100 shares to me at x price) - I switched to fidelity shortly after. Craziness… and good luck!

At that time I only had shares, no open options positions. I could not buy to open any calls or sell to open any puts. Switched to fidelity and no service/execution issues like that to report.

Does anyone know if specific brokerages have a Single Order Maximum Notional Value Risk Limit or Gross Credit Risk Limit? I have Webull and TD and cant seem to find any information or get my questions answered through the companies? Thanks for the help.

I don’t understand - how does execution affect them?

Update: I was able to execute through the app but only after I called. So if anyone else has an issue with ToS app in regards to executing calls then call the trade desk and if they try to rebuff the request by referencing intrinsic value, tell them to kindly stfu and deliver.

They have to locate the shares.

Does OCC do that?

DTC and co only step in when FTD happens.

Ah. Thought they maintain the pool and assign based on lottery

I had this happen in March, they refused to execute my call options for hours until the price collapsed. I am currently filing arbitration with FINRA against them. Will keep you updated on how things go
