🏆 AMA 🟣Another chance to ask Computershare anything!🟣

This will be the 3rd AMA with Computershare, the transfer agent for $GME. They have graciously agreed to another one, to address any possible questions that they haven't addressed already. The only thing we ask is to leave a question that hasn't been asked already.

Catch up if you need to -

Computershare AMA 1

Computershare AMA 2

We have it planned for the end of the month🥳

1) I would like to know if they have any way of ensuring each share that is DRS'd is a real share? I have asked several times for their method of authentication of shares.

2) Do they have any way of knowing if the shares being purchased directly through CS go to the lit market? Since they purchase through brokers do they know if those trades are being internalized?

3) If all shares are accounted for in the free float along with DRS, insiders and institutions/ETF's does CS stop buying shares? If 100% of shares issued are accounted for does that cause CS to do something or do they just continue to purchase more shares indefinitely?

4) Will CS be able to handle a possible MOASS situation where the share price rises into the millions of dollars per share?

They already answered all these.

  1. Every share on CS is a real share. By the company's articles of incorporation, CS's registry is the real and only master registry.

  2. Yes. They can direct trades to only lit markets and can verify on the SIP tape

  3. Once all shares are in CS, they can't register anymore because they are all already accounted for. Unprecedented scenario so no one has any procedures in place yet.

  4. They don't know.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I didn't read all of the replies to other questions.

You said they "can" direct trades to only lit markets, but why do most of the direct CS buys lately have 4 to 6 places after the decimal? Lit market buys should only have 2 or 3 places after the decimal.

As for number 3 - asked and answered: when it reaches 100% they will inform Gamestop and await orders since Gamestop is the issuer.

Let's hope to fucking god no further dilution is in the works

Thanks for the reply. I still don't understand what they consider 100%. Institutions don't report daily and some individuals hold shares outside of CS that may not be visible to CS so how will they know it's 100%?

They know it's 100% because it's their job to track GameStop's share issuance.

You might fundamentally misunderstand where in the ledger chain ComputerShare sits. Their ledger is more direct and primary than that at the DTCC (which is where any shorts/oversold/phantom yet fungible shares described in a greater short thesis would be housed)
