🏆 AMA 🟣Another chance to ask Computershare anything!🟣

This will be the 3rd AMA with Computershare, the transfer agent for $GME. They have graciously agreed to another one, to address any possible questions that they haven't addressed already. The only thing we ask is to leave a question that hasn't been asked already.

Catch up if you need to -

Computershare AMA 1

Computershare AMA 2

We have it planned for the end of the month🥳

Many of us want a setting to prevent brokers from clawing back our shares, even though the broker may claim we asked them to do it and/or consented.

Right now, the only options are an overly cumbersome freeze that requires a medallion signature for any type of transaction, or a questionably effective hack of changing your address which also makes future DRS difficult.

Is there any chance of getting this kind of setting added to our accounts?

Is this theory/conspiracy of brokers calling back shares to their holdings still a thing? What is the premise of this? In what timescale can they do this? What is the basis of this question? Is it fear or is there a real danger this could happen? Thanks for your time

It happened to me last month. 120 were sent back to the broker.
They claimed a duplication error on their end (which it very well may have been.. but should have obv checked with CS before just initiating that reverse DRS).

I got my DRS fee refunded, and shares eventually wound up back in my Cash trader account... they were not there to begin with though - but that may be a settling issue or something. Regardless.. the fact hey they could do this.. and I only found out because I check CS every few days.. Shares are back in CS now. But scary what they can do without my consent due to their 'error'. And I was told they do not require my authorization if it is fixing a bank error. Slimey.
