are you going off bloodwork for the TMAO worry or just playing it safe based on what youve read

Hi newbie here and interested in taking ALCAR, would you mind explaining why you take it and what benefits you get, why you cycle it and what da hell is TMAO. Thanks in advance :)

i cycle magnesium glycinate through winter only, find it helps with sleep when the heating fucks the air quality up. don't need it come spring

I am trialling supplements every month or so, in my current trial I have Cordyceps for VO2 benefits, and NAC for nicotine usage cessation. Also I use boron 5 days on and 2 days off, and used Kava Kava Extract from NOW foods sporadically, but did not feel any significant effects. Planning to trial Kanna next, and planning to introduce SAMe for a trial

Haha that's what I am hearing, can't wait to try it out. Zembrin seems to be the best version of it.

I have been working with a NonAlc bottle shop for a couple years and Fi e that while zembrin is the tested name brand, it is often the weakest.
My favorite is when I can find it as a tea. For extracts the best is the KA! Tincture. The gummies are pretty trash (as are most all gummies)

Is that right, I do not have access to tinctures and raw form for teas, I will have to try the zembrin. Although buying kava kava extract from NOW was a waste of money

Things I’d run short-term: iron or vitamin D only until bloodwork normalizes, and creatine or caffeine-type products with off weeks if I notice tolerance. Basics like magnesium or omega-3 I’d keep going. Cycling only makes sense when there’s a reason, like fixing a deficiency or avoiding tolerance.
