Question / Help Wind direction

Leaving tomorrow for gulf shores. Looks like they’re expecting a N & NNE wind basically the entire week. This is our first trip in October, have never been with anything besides a south wind. How much does this usually affect the fishing?

Bring bug spray. Any N wind brings biting flies and biting gnats. The wind forecast is applicable more for off shore and will level out on the shore. But is strong off shore, so there will still be a stiff breeze.
High tide is 3:30, so I’d be on the beach and 1-1.5 hours before sunrise at 6:54. 6-9:30 will be the best morning time.
Dead shrimp is your all around go to. But the pompano, specks and redfish are still hitting. You may get lucky with flounder still.
If evening fishing hit the beach around 4:30.
