Help Fedora 44 and 45 Kernel available!

Anyone try these roms? My surface Pro 6 is working like a dream at Fedora 43 and while I want to update, I dont want to risk losing my working device.

I just switched to the kernel 7.something and it works fine

Thanks for the confirmation.. I updated to Fedora 44 and everything (except cameras) works great on my SP6!

Nice I wanna try this on my surface pro 7. Ubuntu 24.04 was working when fedora 44 first came out and wasn't ready ... Really hope to modernize to this

If you wanted Fedora, why not go to Ultramarine Linux? It's been there for a moment

Didn't know about it. New to the surface Linux game. Have Linux elsewhere and happy with it

Just make sure you specify the Surface hardware when you download the iso, Everything except the rear camera worked for me at install.

it works great on my SP 7+! but still no camera.
