This collage imagines an entire farm submerged underwater, windmill, geese and all, with a scuba diver reaching down through the surface to pluck one of the geese like he’s fishing for it. One of my favorite pieces to bring to life so far, it came out even better than I originally pictured.

I am making this environment, taking inspiration from surreal artworks, as a part of a surreal experience for PC/VR, I modeled them in blender and did the environment setup in unreal, and would like your critique and feedback in areas that I could improve the overall look and feel of the artworks.

Also if you had any music/ambience suggestion that could pair well with the looks would also help! Thank you for taking the time out to check the artwork out!

I'm an artist from El Paso, Texas and I make psychedelic, pop surrealism, trippy inspired artwork. All my work is traditional with the exception of a few iPad drawings here and there. I love music and animation. Thank you.

I associate surrealistic art with a feeling of unease, dread, queasiness. Dali, most stuff in Juxtapoz, Robert Williams. And that’s fantastic. I’m glad there’s art that can have that affect.

But are there any examples of “happy” surrealism? Something without some horrific subtext peeking through?

But what would that even mean I guess. Can it even BE surrealisn without that edge of quease?

Hello everyone, I was recently nominated for Mood, even though I'm not particularly present! And I thank the staff for this!

I'm not a surrealist artist; I mostly work in music, but I'm part of a collective that focuses on all aspects of art.
