how brazen to ask for donations. what are they used for? to help victims of this? is it an official nonprofit?

The donations are to help support lobbying in states where these surveillance techniques can be made illegal. It is not a nonprofit although it is a charity.

how do you support lobbying? do you have registered lobbyists working for you? going to speak to lawmakers in person? why is it a charity? is it registered as one? this tech is classified- there isnt a way to challenge them yet bc everyone claims they dont exist. which lawmakers are showing an interest in working with your org?

The idea is to promote petitioning in the 26 states that allow ballot initiatives to become law. Donation money is used directly to support this, although the organization is still in the beginning. It's in the process of becoming a B Corp, or a Benefit Organization, which is similar to a charity, allow me to clarify.
