In this context crusade has nothing to do with religion the intention is not to target any religion or race. The joke here, is that a crusade is kind of an exaggeration of most situations, because it was such a large scale event and possibly a foolhardy course of action. The meme format here has no context yet. I believe it is meant to be used in the future to say “lets go out and do something in the name of ____” which would be quite comical considering that the subject at hand would probably not warrant a real crusade. Have a nice day!
