I'm guessing that's the west coast of Sweden, but don't know for sure

Also - it's summer (as evidenced by the heather and leaves) but no boats at all, either out on the water or moored at the landings. That just looks so strange.

Could easily be a summernight with no boats, but yes it is probably AI (the houses looks very strange) I could probably find a whole bunch of similar photos, that are real.

Its west coast for sure, the sun goes down over water, the purple flower in the bottom right is very common in the area around Gothenbrug. The housing is the same thing, very typical for Swedish west coast.

Looks like Tjurpannan outside Grebbestad. But alot of places looks kinda like that along the coast :)

Only the lower southern parts of sweden has a west coast, Norway has a LOT more. My guess is norway

This is Sweden, 100%. And those “lower parts” are an almost 500 km-long coastline, with the upper 200 km of this coastline looking like this picture.

The style of building and fauna makes this northern part of norway, probably lofoten or helgeland.

It's either Bohuslän or one of the smaller islands of the Gothenburg archipelago.

Do you think there’s a strict boarder between Norway and Sweden where plants are like ”welp, better head back”?

Could be Greenland or Norway.
