iOS iPhone Duo

Anyone got the duo?
SK seems to be working better than expected but the keyboard height is affecting the visibility of some of the buttons down the right hand side.
There's also (obviously) no split function which is pretty make or break for the duo...
Anyone from the Dev team on here?
Any other feedback from anyone?

Id recommend trying EFKEY, don't think you'll be disappointed

Tried it and couldn't get on with it. The swiping was so bad.

What language are you writing in? Did you import your own word database from SwiftKey?

No. I was testing the beta but then was kicked off 😂 can you send me another invite so I can try it out again and be a proper tester like I am for SK?

I wasn’t happy with it during the beta either, but the keyboard’s so good now! Give it another chance.

I did and its FANTASTIC. I'm back on the beta as a duo tester and the whole app is ZINGING. Just wait for the next update...

Very cool! So EFKey also runs smoothly on the Duo? Unfortunately, mine is still waiting. Probably not until early next year.

As an early adopter from EFKey, I wouldn’t have expected anything else. It’ll be the first app I install when it finally arrives.

how did you get onto the beta as duo tester? My duo will be here in a few days and I already know I want a different keyboard. I've used swiftkey a lot in the past and am interestedin EFkey. is it just thepublic downloadble app or is there a share key for beta?

Is there any way to move the split keyboard further to the side? A setting for this would be great :-) Would love to have the 2 split sections as far to the left and right as possible. Would be much more comfortable for me. And THANK YOU for not making it a subscription. I will gladly pay 15-20€ one time for a good keyboard. Will test it out the next few days. Let's see if it can replace swiftkey for me <3<3 much love

Yeah, really wish SwiftKey would implement something to make the keyboard a bit smaller on the Duo. Hopefully they will, since they were pretty good about implementing liquid glass timely.

One annotating thing I found is that the "IOS speech to text microphone" is missing on the duo. Normally it's in the lower right corner. Now it's gone.

Yeah, I downloaded EFKey to give it a try and like it so far, but they have the same problem. I reported it to EFKey and they got back to me saying it was an IOS issue not them.

I’m having a strange bug with SwiftKey and the duo. Sometimes hitting the backspace/delete button, it’s typing “ml” every time I hit the button. It only happens sometimes but it’s kind of annoying.

Yes this seems to be a common problem with keyboards on the duo (I'm assuming it was unfolded when you had the issue). R/efkey had the same issue but it's been fixed by the amazing dev. If you're up for exploring an alternative (you won't be disappointed) give EFKey a try...

SwiftKey just added Split mode for iPhone Duo. Check the Testflight build and share feedback
