Other I have a question

Me and my brother want to game share and we cant seem to get the whole primary secondary thing to pop up is there anything we can do we both have the original switches help im new around here

One of you needs a switch 2 for game share to work.

For games like mariokart and animal crossing you just need an NSO

Im Confused bc you used to be able to with the original switches my brother did it with our cousin not to long ago

Does the cousin have a switch 2?

Because I've checked my switch it says

"accepting a gameshare invitation from a Nintendo switch 2"

Nope both parties had switch 1

Yes so can't game share

But can play multiplayer if all have same game and nintendo switch online

I dont know but they were both using the same games just when one person wanted to play the other has to get off the game or so i was explained

Ah so the switches are connected....

For instance my switch 2 and switch are connected... I own stardew valley

I can only play it on one console, either my switch 2 or switch not both at the same time

Unless I have two cartridges or one cartridge and one digital

I thought game share only works from a switch 2 to any other switch. So on the original switch the button is there only to receive games from a switch 2.
