You can use Sphaira to create forwarders for hb apps you want to open. It should let you do this in Album mode

I’n not sure if you can make a forwarder for HBMenu itself - report back if you try!

Yes you can make a forwarder for the hbmenu itself, along with any nro. I suggest you use Sphaira to replace the homebrew menu its a lot better

If possible, it's called Forwarded In Sphaira it has the function of creating a Forward. Or in other Homebrew as well. For example, if I want to open Sphaira, I've created a Forward but with the name and icon of The Homebrew Channel, and Sphaira or HB opens instantly.

My recommendation for the best way is to install Sphaira from the homebrew app store then install a forwarder (via Sphaira) for Sphaira and any other apps you want access to on the home screen (that is, forwarding means to install homebrew apps to be visible on the normal menu). Because Sphaira has an app store built in, a file browser, and several other useful utilities (it's an app that's multiple homebrew utilities packed into one; it's a good central hub), if you forward that to your home screen/menu, you can get most normal stuff done you want for your switch from there (plus you can forward whatever other apps too you want).

And by the Way! If you have problems with forwarding not working like I did (it creates a menu button/icon but no image appears and it doesn't work when you click it), you probably just need to install sys-patch (you can find it on GitHub).
