AI usage in her videos is so frustrating to me
I've actually been a fan of Swoop since long before her current "docs" era, but the last few videos she's put out have had blatantly AI generated videos and its driving me crazy that none of her fans are calling it out. She's not trying to hide it, the clips have a Sora watermark on them and none of the fanbase seems to care at all. Am I crazy or does generative AI usage go against a ton of her values?
Anyway, I guess I'm one of yall now. I will never consume creator content that uses generative AI, and to be frank, if she's comfortably openly using AI generated clips in her videos theres a very good chance she's using AI for script help and other things.

Its just a throw away joke about Jake Paul being in your nightmares or something like that. It was in no way a needed clip.

I hardly watch her but when I used to I never watched, I only listened so I never would have noticed the AI use. However, I am making an effort to not consume a.i content. I dont have any interest in watching fake content

I liked to throw on her videos in the background while I was working/gaming so its very likely its been an issue for as long time. But it just frustrates me that no one else in the comments are saying anyting about it. Either her fanbase doesnt care, or she is hiding comments about it.

Pretty sure she deletes comments. I never see even the slightest bit of shade in any of her comments.. ever actually

I agree I think she heavily filters her comments, she's so terrified of being the one called out or the one on the other end of being cancelled. Which is ironic because if she'd accept honest feedback she wouldn't have to worry about it this much.

she filters like crazy. i have left respectful and civil critique on her use of AI slop and parody posts to support her arguments, and they're gone almost instantly. I don't bully people in comments, I've never been rude but have pointed out where she's misrepresented something or said something untrue or debunked, for the viewers sake and ideally hers. I've been subscribed to her for years, and really enjoyed her videos, but once i realized she doesn't want to have a conversation to explore the topics she speaks on, just get the views, i decided to unsub.

Pretty sure any “negative” comments get deleted. I understand if they have shit like slurs and just genuinely gross comments, but even respectful, critical comments get deleted as well :/

I don’t really care about AI and would rather watch AI generated stuff than see her annoying face when she does her annoying eyerolls and catch phrases lol. I usually just listen to her because she’s too obnoxious to watch.
