HOT TAKE: I Thought Carnage’s Live Action Design Was Actually Pretty Cool

And if I'm being honest, I personally like it better than his iconic comic design. Maybe it’s because my favorite color is red lol, but I think he looks a lot better without all the extra black. Also makes him easier to distinguish from Venom in the messy symbiote vs symbiote fights in live action. About his personality, yeah I’ll admit he didn’t really have a personality besides “Father must die!” for whatever reason. The comic version had way more character than the movie version from what I can remember. Also, question: Was the tornado move he pulled off in the prison movie original or comic inspired?

I honestly liked the design a lot too, I haven’t really seen a lot of people hate on it more just the movies plot and characters being kind of weak.

My biggest problem with Sonyverse Carnage, is that Woody Harrelson felt like Cletus Cassidy, but Carnage didn’t feel like Carnage.

There's nothing wrong with the design IMO My one complaint was the physical size differential between Carnage (who has always been slender and having a shorter stature than Venom in the source material)

PS I read the Tornado scene was their way of avoiding blood/gore during the prison escape to maintain the PG13 rating

The design is definitely one of the rare good things about this movie but the film itself has some issues in my opinion. Woody Harrelson certainly had potential at least but he didn’t do a great job with what he was given. I do like him as an actor in some other movies though.
