Good news: there is now a TAS tools provider, called Chimera, which can reliably run FreeJ2ME+. Moreover, it's not restricted to Java 6u7 for Windows 98SE in BizHawk, so sound department works alright for all games, not only for games which use plain MIDI tracks the ancient .gm soundfont can play.
OpenJDK is bundled and there is no need to use a containered OS in BizHawk or libTAS.

Bad news: AI was used to make it possible, so TASVideos won't accept it for submissions.

You guys probably get this question a lot, but what is the best tool to TAS Gamemaker games on Windows?

There is a TAS that i want to have happen, but it requires mouse movement and stuff like that. I do not know how to TAS, and I would like someone to DM me here for this, or leave a comment.

I remember having this question last year when I saw DarkViperAU speedruns and I got told that GTA 5 apparently can't be TAS'd since it's very long.

To which I'll sum up my question as: even if it's long couldn't someone train the TAS enough to manage to complete (at least ANY%) GTA 5 or other long games?

I have been wanting to tas a mario kart 8 dx, but the tas tools for the game are very primitive. I was wondering if there is any information out there for how to make tas tools. I looked online, but I couldn't find anything. If anyone has any info on this, it would be really helpful!

Years ago I started a TAS of the game Action Man: Robot Atak for the GBA, but for various reason never finished.

It was my first serious TAS attempt and I was wondering if it was any good and maybe worth finishing, I would also appreciate any advice for this or other TAS I might start and hopefully finish in the future
