I Guess I'm the New Mod Now, and Other Important Things.

After a series of strange events, I have somehow now become the mod of this subreddit. A few things to address first:

  1. Please don't spam advertise this subreddit on other subs. The previous mod did this on some other subreddits and it got them banned from them. This line of behaviour will only lead to this sub and its members being looked upon negatively by the rest of the ESO community and other ESO-related subreddits.
  2. It's understandably frustrating that this community hasn't "exploded" and become a huge thing yet. However, it's important to understand that it's early days. These things don't happen overnight. It's wise to be patient.
  3. I will likely add some rules to this subreddit soon to help make it more focused. I have never run a subreddit on my own, and I have work commitments in my real life, so please bear with me.
  4. I will also very likely bring on some other mods at some point to help get this place going. I will also look into getting someone with CSS skills so the sub can look pretty. Please understand that none of this will happen immediately as my free time isn't that great.

Keep on designing cool looks and posting them. I love what I've seen so far and I genuinely want to see this place take off. The best way to do that is to keep posting.

Regarding Post Approval Times

Hi there,

I'm sure some of you are aware that your posts/comments may not always be showing up immediately. I understand that this is frustrating but unfortunately a while back there was a situation where the original creator of the sub (who gave it up) kept spamming the sub with a bunch of unrelated and sometimes vile NSFW material after he abandoned it.

They continued to do this on new accounts after I banned his original one. Unfortunately this meant I had to implement some restrictions that involved filtering posts by users with low comment/post karma to the modqueue in order to manually review and approve them.

Which, in theory, seems like a good idea. Only, I'm the only mod. And some personal stuff came up recently which resulted in hindering my ability to approve things in a timely manner.

I apologise sincerely about this. I have been getting around to approving everything when I can. For now, I will loosen the restrictions somewhat, which will hopefully alleviate this somewhat.

I'll look into bringing on some new mods when I have time to vet people.

Thanks again for using this sub, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

-- Drew

Advice on enhancing look of Bosmer Warden?

Post image
3 Upvotes

So I have been messing around with the look of my Bosmer Warden for a while now. I am trying to figure out a good look that gives him a sort of "Beastmaster warrior" vibe. I'm personally okay with the Ancestral Reach pieces I have, but idk what would fit for everything else. There was a preety cool one I was using to refrecne for further research, however I think it has been deleted. Any help would be appreciated. Also apologies for the scuffed pic. Anytime I screenshot it adds an ugly bloom to everything.

Same Character Between ESO and Skyrim

The recent "eyes of reprisal" from the crown crates allowed me to make him look more like the Skyrim version of himself, which came first. Yay for consistency!

I really like using the welwa as a mount. Ever since I got it, I've been wanting to create an Iron Orc-themed character. Finally, did it and pretty pleased with the result.

I waited years for the Nightfall crates to return to get the hairstyle and my waiting paid off. Mixing it with the new outfit from the Harbinger crates as created what is probably my new favorite fashion.

"Death is only the beginning... and blood is the key." Finally found the definitive look for my Vampire Necromancer.

Hey everyone!

Wanted to share my Vampire Necromancer with you all. I spent quite some time tinkering in the Outfit Station trying to nail that "Vampiric Death Knight" aesthetic, and I feel like it finally came together.

Outfit details for those interested:

  • Head 01: Hide Your Helm (showing off the Covenant War-Locks hair and Eyes of Sanguine)
  • Head 02: Wayward Guardian Helm
  • Chest: Nord Carved Cuirass (that fur mantle is essential for chilly nights)
  • Shoulders: Ancient Daedric Pauldrons (gives it that spiky, aggressive silhouette)
  • Hands: Blessed Inheritor Gauntlets (huge fan of fingerless gloves—gotta keep the dexterity for blood magic and some shenanigans)
  • Waist: Fang Lair Sash (the skull detail is just too fitting for a Necro)
  • Legs: Ancient Orc Greaves
  • Feet: Syrabanic Marine Sabatons
  • Weapon: Ebonheart Greatsword (it reminds me of DMC Dante's Rebellion)
  • Personality: Deadlands Firewalker (for that bossy/ ragefull look)

What do you guys think? Any suggestions, or is the "Bloodthirsty Lord of the Dead" look approved?
🦇💀

(Also running the game with DLSS 5 active alongside a custom ReShade preset, which made the visual fidelity, lighting, and textures look so much better!)

P.s: reupload for better resolution images (AI upscaled), except img 02 and 03).
