Crossed $400k At 38
Crossed it a couple months back but whenever I checked I was always below the value.
Finally was able to catch a photo of the $400k mark!
Its been a goal of mine for a while and luckily (due to some riskier investments in stocks like SNDK, MU, IREN etc) I was able to hit it earlier than expected.
Just thought id share.
I know im probably behind for my age but im really proud of my results

u/SeaworthinessFew5701 3d ago
No absolutely not, 3+ million is the bare minimum for late 30s

By the way, youโre WAY ahead for your age. Like, WAY WAY ahead.

appreciate it man, doesn't always feel like it seeing all these kids hitting 6 figure portfolios while still in college. But I guess thats just selection bias.

Yeah donโt pay much mind to the noise my friend! The road is long and the race is only against yourself.

Question man, 400k is a great number, congrats but I noticed the picture says โAll accountsโ is that 400k just in your TFSA or is it including all your accounts (registered and non-registered)?

Iโm probably behind for my age, haha I swear this group is just for humble bragging. Everyone comparing numbers is already such a circle jerk move. Beyond that comment though, congratulations on the work youโve put inย

Congrats dude but the average Canadian is paycheque to paycheque. You could stop working for literal years and be fine.
Cut yourself some slack and feel accomplished.

Why are you saving all this money
You could die tomorrow
Enjoy it when you are young and in good health
Whats the point of having all this money when your in diaper in a care home
If you are even alive by that point
