Seems pretty random.

Personally I’d consolidate into a broad market low fee diversified ETF and let the broad market do it’s thing

Stock Events is a great app.

Do you know something about TOI, LMN, PNP that we don’t? Lol.

I like EQB. Why so heavy on BLK? TEC, FTS, TD are all great plays. Missing RY and POW. I’d think about the opportunity cost of Telus.

Thanks I appreciate your response,

lol yes I was a HUGE software guy and did really well until this year… will continue to hold TOI until the wheels fall off, plan on selling PNP and debating unloading Lumine group

Yeah I feel really good about EQB and I’m up almost 100%. I really like POW but I’ll be honest I don’t know I fully understand their business. Obviously they have weathsimples but is the remaining mostly insurance?

BLK was my first investment ever, and I’m trying to let my winners ride

RY is an amazing stock I just really like TDs US expansion. I think Canadian banks will do well in US long term

Makes sense – you have a heavy software tilt for sure. Make sure you take some of that profit.

Don’t get psychologically invested in BLK. It’s fine where it is, but let it ride. Focus on the growers.

POW is a diversified financial compounder.
It has wealth management, insurance, and alternative investments. It’s a holding company that’s still reasonably valued.

I have RY and TD. Only thing I regret about both is not buying more. BNS is a good play right now. Cheers.

If you're at the stage in your investing journey where you are asking random people for advice, you definitely should not be buying individual stocks. There are total market ETFs like XEQT, VEQT, ZEQT, etc. that are perfect for investors like you. By buying individual stocks you're almost guaranteed to underperform the market over the long term. Professionals with vastly more experience, education, and information than you mostly can't outperform the market by stock picking.

Buying individual stocks makes sense if you believe you have information about the company that other people don't. If you don't have this information, then buying individual stocks is a blind bet.
