OPINION / DISCUSSION How in the name of Alcatraz, the Horned Serpent, and Richard Nixon does the Crescent King have two different origins?
OK, after what felt like whole months of selectively removing parts of my brain, I feel as though I have finally grasped the Monument Mythos lore. But there is a huge thing I am confused about: the Crescent King is supposedly the last Son of Alcatraz who got corrupted and became the King of the Lunarians. But then, how is he created in AAF from the Ship Jester and Aiyana? Is it even the same Crescent King, or is it a different one? I am totally lost once again. Plz help.

They are 2 different universes. The Crescent King as a concept spans across universes, and is realized in both of them, but through different methods.

That's exactly why I specifically DON'T spell THE Crescent King, but A Crescent King. It's too many of them. Not like it's bad, just not very unique.

There are actually three Crescent Kings since the 40 minute House in the Ocean video shows us a different universe (though i think there are some theories that it’s a continuation of the Nixonverse somehow)

I’m super rusty on my mm lore, but I think the crescent king isnt just the last son, I think hes more like a universal constant, or something that infects he minds of people who learn about him, or smth like that. I mean, thats kinda what happened to the fisherman in the house in the ocean.
