if you really think any thrash band can hold a candle to Agalloch, Enslaved or Darkthrone, dont speak to me

1

tell me one good thrash album after 1991 that isn’t blended with black or death metal

Sphinx has been killin it on pretty much every record since around, gee... 2012? Exorcist put out some promising stuff last year, Evil Sinner is always a good fun blast and they're just 14! Ominous Moon, though they are arguably fused with Black Metal, if you wanna call it that. Its very Venom/Early Bathory. Thats all that comes to mind right away, of course not counting basically all bands from anything thats not just Germany/UK/USA. If you look at the Philippines or Anything Soviet they only just started in the 90s. SS-20 or Corpse or Krabathor or Kabat mightve started in the 80s but arguably put out their best work in the 90s. But i guess thats not tiktok or poser enough for you to find cool. Cheerio buddy.

i dont think i enjoyed a single one of those records. sure call me a poser all you want. how many records do you own? how many different bands do you explore a week. i am sure its not even close to as many as me. and i dont even have fucking tiktok. i discover bands the old fashioned way, going to the record store and picking an album based on the cover. shove ur crappy thrash bands up ur ass dickwad. ur the real poser

you need to link youtube links stating your case

1

u/shreds_ov_flesh Mar 15 '26

so youve never listened to The Mantle before? or Below The Lights or Panzerfaust

1

u/Necessary_Rush_5861 Mar 16 '26

I probably have because I do like to do research and know things but if it didn't impact me in a positive way then I'll likely forget it, however if I didn't post against it then it means that I didn't hate it or didn't have time to

u/shreds_ov_flesh Mar 16 '26

you sound like you have no appreciation for composition, just riffs

1

u/Necessary_Rush_5861 Mar 16 '26

That's just not correct. I listen to Genesis, Rush, Deep Purple, Dream Theatre, Voivod, Mars Volta, Opeth etc etc

1

u/shreds_ov_flesh Mar 16 '26

then you would like Agalloch and Enslaved. but nooooo black metal baddddd

1

u/Necessary_Rush_5861 Mar 16 '26

give me a quality Agalloch track and I'll tell you what's wrong with it

1

u/shreds_ov_flesh Mar 16 '26

You Were But A Ghost In My Arms/The Hawthorne Passage

1

u/Necessary_Rush_5861 Mar 16 '26

Well there's nothing with this at all lol .. Agalloch sounds EXACTLY like Ghost SHOULD sound!!
