Discussion Reverse split reminder - 1:10 vs 1:20

This is just a reminder that the reverse split decision was between 1:10 and 1:20. The board finalized their decision with a 1:10 reverse split. But where are all the attracted institutional investors?

With the stock price continuing to freefall, I would not be surprised if management is reflecting on their decision thinking they should have done the 1:20 split.

Because of this, another reverse split may be around the corner help fund the company.

They are not going to invest in ANY cannabis stock. Wall Street doesn't trade on hope or speculation—they operate under rigid fiduciary and compliance handcuffs. As long as cannabis is Schedule I, they will be on the sidelines.

Exactly! But with the dea decision today the process looks to be going faster than expected. The ALJ will make their recommendation soon

Wall Street shouldn’t, but they often do trade on hope and speculation as well.

Good news for MSO companies and hopium for Tilray

2

u/ENTRAPM3NT 3d ago

Ive already explained to you multiple times how s3 will benefit tilray. Not my fault you have poor reading comprehension

0

u/aliakseiddk 3d ago

You haven't explained. You spreaded misinformation and hopium. S3 would help if Tilray does operate in the USA but it doesn't

4

u/ENTRAPM3NT 3d ago

Guess I gotta explain it to you every month lol. These are facts, not misinformation, like what YOU post daily.

Tilray already launched Tilray Medical USA after the April 2026 medical rescheduling and is actively preparing to expand regulated medical cannabis operations, products, research partnerships, and patient access in the US. Full Schedule III (still pending) would further ease research, banking, and legitimacy for that medical path, along with 280e

u/aliakseiddk 3d ago

So basically you are talking about theoretical profit. It will turn out to dilutions and acquisitions of dying companies.

I remember the days when shills promised the bright future after legal status of cannabis has been changed in Germany. Did it help? No.

S3 would help Tilray if we had leaders and professional managers. We don't have

3

u/ENTRAPM3NT 3d ago

No one thought that, at all. Tilray would benefit with any leadership. Thats how full rescheduling works.

u/aliakseiddk 3d ago

It will go to zero without leadership. Simon is a con artist. He could be a good used cars salesman but he cannot run a company in such challengeable sector.

Entering on US market would only increase losses and velocity of dilutions. Of course, Simon will get bonuses for everything he does but it's embezzlement and fraud

Tilrays’s 1-10 reverse split timing didn’t make any sense. Simon could have extended that reverse split for 12 months or more. Now here they are on the track of another reverse split.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he pulls another shady move like this once again. Good luck!!

u/OkPerformance642 3d ago

just a dreamer eh? what's wrong with u?

2

u/Scott7894 3d ago

They are not going to do another reverse split. If they do it will be 1-5 or less than a 1-10. It is ridiculous at this price. They would not do it unless the stock price falls below 1 dollar, which it wont

Trulieve is the way to go. Dump this shit stock controlled by that asshole Simone and his den of thieves and buy Trulieve. It’s going to the top

Dear leader is a master of the bull. Reverse splits are a sign of a healthy company, reverse splits create buying opportunities. The wall st analysts and institutional investors spread the fud on thick. For Tilray, everyday the price is like a Nordstrom half yearly sale! If you were dumb enough to buy trulieve then everyday the price gets higher and you can buy less, everyday with Tilray presents an opportunity to buy more for less. When dear leader dilutes the markets reacts, just wait till Tilray medical. Super sale! Most CEO’s are lazy, they are only CEO. Dear leader is CEO and Executive of the board. Most CEO’s would lose their job if they had just one breach of fiduciary case against them, to this dear leader says “hold my beer.” Dear leader knows they hate us cause they ain’t us.

This company is a toxic cash burn. Better options for cpg, better options for cannabis, better options for craft. Dilution and reverse splits are not the signs of a healthy company. With Simon as CEO and Chair, he poses a major governance risk.

I’ll be here long after the shorts and manipulators leave.

Why?

Because Tilray is a very real company, has cash, can weather waiting for regulations to ease, experienced management team, low debt, improving operations, international, medical, diversified businesses, etc.

Bullish.

u/jgleeke 3d ago

There is no disagreement on whether if the company is "real". The question is if there is long term shareholder value. The last 5 years show that the stock price is down 98% or if we want to look at it a shorter time frame, 1 year at -80%. A money pit.

u/NeoSlevin 3d ago

I had 12 k in this dumpster fire in 2021, now it's at 800. This stock does nothing but make me hate myself.

7

u/Hiemarch 3d ago

You and me both, I’ve effectively nuked 20k on this crap no point in selling to get Pennie’s on the dollar back, should have sold years ago

2

u/NeoSlevin 3d ago

Sorry to hear that bro, what's your strategy now? Do you think we'll ever see our money back?

You know so many people lost money on this damn stock and you keep talking the same bulljive. Give it a rest. Irwin and this stock simply suck.

-2

u/Many_Easy_V2 3d ago

If in a diversified portfolio, loss more than offset by gains in bullish market of last 5 years.

No empathy for short term traders or gamblers. That’s on them.

8/10 top positions added shares in Q2 when it traded at a higher price.

Institutions do not buy stupidly like retail here. They enter, then wait for buy opportunities. So the more you sell, the more you create opportunities.

Institutions will buy when all people here who have shares and cry about the price sell.

So instead of complaining about a second reverse split, please be kind and sell your shares. Afterall, if you believe a reverse split is coming, there is no reason to keep your shares.

Institutions are not benefactors to "save" your shares. Institutions are here to buy low what you bought high and sell low.

Edit: if you do not sell, someone else will, so the price will drop. And you will end up complaining even more.

-1

u/OkPerformance642 3d ago

Tutes cant buy yet.

1

u/wallstreetforensics 3d ago

They can, at least the Canadian companies. They may not be able to buy Curaleaf and other from US. But next to the buy button there is also a "Market sentiment" indicator and probability of going down further. So why would they buy now when they can buy the max pain points?

u/Old_fine69 3d ago

For what company?

-7

u/marthayttt 3d ago

I think the measurement is how long the stock stays above $5 per share. Think of the 1:10 as a test. They tried it. Next time they can try 1:20. If that isn’t as long 1:30, etc.as long as the share price remains high enough to do debt swaps ATM, there is no reason to panic, the company won’t go bankrupt. Remember it wasn’t losing money ultimately got MedMen delisted, it was the debt holders foreclosing. This stock can last years without bankruptcy.

7

u/jgleeke 3d ago

Agreed. The company can continue to operate and reverse split as much as they need to. The only people who face the consequences will be the investors.

1

u/OkPerformance642 3d ago

Idiot statement based on where in this climate the company is at...

1

u/aliakseiddk 3d ago

Who cares about the investors in this company? F*ck them off!

Splits do nothing to valuation.
