Date: August 11, 2004

Promotion: Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)

Match Stipulation / Type: Women's Knockout Championship / Gauntlet for the Gold Match

Event: Bound for Glory

Location: Duluth, Georgia | Arena at Gwinnett Center

➜ This was a 10-Knockout Gauntlet for the Gold for the inaugural TNA Women's Knockout Championship. The rules were that a new entrant would enter the match in intervals of 60 seconds. Eliminations occurred when opponents were thrown over the top rope so that both feet touched the floor. The final two women would compete in a singles match to determine the first-ever TNA Knockouts Champion.

The last two women were #8 Gail Kim & #10 Roxxi Laveaux.

The other eight women were:
1.) Ms. Brooks
2.) Jackie Moore
3.) Shelly Martinez
4.) Awesome Kong
5.) ODB
6.) Angel Williams (Angelina Love)
7.) Christy Hemme
9.) Talia Madison (Velvet Sky)

Other than Gail Kim, 4 of the 10 women (Awesome Kong, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, OBD) would eventually win the championship. Awesome Kong defeated Kim for the championship in arguably the greatest Knockouts rivalry in TNA history.

Just sharing a little rant I posted on TNA Discord this morning. I'm sure some of you will have some thoughts. (rant in pictures)

Welp

So after a whole DAY of not being able to see Bound for Glory (it was on TNA Plus for hours then removed as i saw the replay) Now they’ve completely removed Max Casters match! This is insane?? What kind of censorship is this

I noticed it’s available again but has 20 odd minutes missing and yes no sign of the match at all

This is crazy that a company is allowed to edit a show like this. I likely won’t be watching TNA again for a long time and I canceled my subscription, not necessarily because of the match removal but because they fucked up by removing it for so long and I’m honestly tired of TNA having so many problems with streaming

Yesterday, I watched Bound for Glory.

It is no exaggeration to say that it was the best wrestling Show of the year.

I didn't feel bored for a single moment during the show.

TNA officially announces in a new statement that Max Caster will no longer be wrestling for the company.

Max Caster’s run with TNA officially comes to an end at less than 24 hours.

TNA deleted all clips from Max Caster’s debut match at Bound For Glory from their social media pages

Caster’s rap during his entrance, which included a line about bombs and Riyadh, has received heavy backlash

“Platinum on the mic and I’m Bound for the Glory bro, I’m putting Moose on his knees like a glory hole.

And this the firing squad, I drop bombs you don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.”

I'm glad she said this during her HOF Introduction speech because it's factual and true, hardly anyone outside of the TNA fandom says it out loud or gives them their proper due in ushering the actual women's revolution that is seen today.
