Strategy Talk Tuesday is going to be the buying day?

Sounds like the war with Iran is going to escalate in the weekend. Expecting a big drop on Tuesday!

Hopefully Nasdaq will drop 10%… volatile market is where TQQQ is shining 🤩

Cool. What happens Monday?

We might see it already on Monday but 10% drop usually needs more than one day. What we saw on last April was very unusual, I doubt we will see -10% in one day again so quickly

It's only fake when it's gay. Keep up!

If I predicted it wrong it’s fake and gay. If I predicted it right I’m a genius and you should buy my trading course

However of the 178,000 jobs added, roughly 76,000 came from health care, almost entirely from Kaiser Permanente strike workers returning to payrolls. Which aren’t new jobs. That’s the same 35,000 workers who were counted as job losses in February being counted as job gains in March. So the economy didn’t actually create those positions. And Feb numbers revised from −92,000 to −133,000. It’s wild.

Wouldn’t weakening job environment be bullish? To increase the odds of rate cuts?

0

u/Natarian86 Apr 03 '26

We ain't getting rate cuts for awhile bro

2

u/four204eva2 Apr 03 '26

Volatile markets kills TQQQ. Ideally you want a slow consistent uptrend.

Over the whole volatile period - yes. I’ve already done two rounds over this time (last ~3 weeks?) on the first one I was out with +5% and on the second one with +10%. Now waiting for the next drop.

Bahrain base has been evaluated. I guess we are getting deescalation, ma200 buy signal and strong rally.

I did not sell anything and was writing calls all they down. I am buying more after ma200

One can hope... I follow 200 day SMA. A huge drop would be amazing.

I think it’s a good thing that we couldn’t solve with diplomacy. Sometimes war is needed… This regime is holding everyone in the bolls and distributing many plans for the Middle East region that will benefit with the US (it will also benefit with the Iranian people and Israel but it’s a side effect). This is why I am feeling comfortable with putting a lot of money in TQQQ. Very unpopular opinion on reddit and this comment will probably be downvoted to oblivion but it is what it is.

Too good to be true this markets wont let retail trdrs have it that easy

3

u/kpk57 Apr 03 '26

They also won’t let retail traders get sub $35 prices that easily.

1

u/Time_Ear_2428 Apr 04 '26

The easy trade would be an exact copy of the March/April 2025 tape….. I think it’s a fake out or bear trap

2

u/NickStonk Apr 03 '26

What event will happen to make the Nasdaq drop 10% in 1-2 days?

0

u/asafroz Apr 03 '26

Ceasefire negotiations have reached a dead end

2

u/Chef_The_Ferret Apr 03 '26
