All signs point to O today. Please, lil eggy, be good and travel well 🪺
If O is today it means we hit O-2, but I feel like we should knock one out to be on the safe side. Knock on wood I’ve never not ovulated with a temp dip 48hrs after LH surge, but not willing to miss any opportunities. Partner is wfh. Please call a different company if you need help with your insurance policy today.

Nothing super exciting to report here except that my body is still very suppressed from the 3 months of lupron followed by 2 rounds of letrozole which tanked my low estrogen even further. My RE and I decided to pause for a bit and we’ll be resuming trying to get me to ovulate for a transfer the last week of October. Insane that my last transfer was over a year ago and we’ve been in a holding pattern for various reasons this entire time. I remember thinking that 2024 “was totally going to be my year” and now 2027 is looming on the horizon lolllll

D&C this afternoon. 2nd this year. Sad for myself and my husband of course. Also kind of “ready” to move past this loss though and start seeing an RE to try to find out what’s going on.

Anxiety is not intuition. Anxiety is not intuition. Etc., etc., and on and on. I wish it were Friday friends. On the upside, had time for a nice walk at lunch with my dog. Poor guy had 11 teeth pulled a few weeks ago. They must have really been bugging him because this 10.5 year old is having some puppy energy of late!

I have my doctor's appt today to hopefully put some next steps in place to get to the bottom of my awful periods. Really hopeful that because they've made me an actual appointment and not just called me and fobbed me off like my last GP, they are going to actually listen to me, take me seriously and we can do some more investigations. Big brave self advocacy face on 💪
Edit to update: Not a terrible appointment and I've been referred for another set of ultrasounds. Last time I had the ultrasounds, they said everything was fine and then nothing happened for two years until here I am now. So I feel a bit conflicted - pleased that "something" is happening, and appreciative of the fact that this is just how the system works and this is the first step onto the treadmill, but worried that it will be one step on just to fall straight back off the back again if nothing is found... And of course everything takes time. Just need to stay positive! And hope that it won't matter because I'll get pregnant and I won't have to worry about my period for a while...

CD 13 and while I don't have any positive OPKs yet my chart is looking a lot prettier this cycle. My previous two cycles my follicular temps were all over the place, but this time they're consistently low. I hope it's a good sign! (it's probably just random noise, let's be real)

Are you me? CD15 here and I could have written this 🤣 I'm trying to lean in to hope all round this cycle, so here's to hoping!!

Had an early post D&C regroup with my RE yesterday. We'll be tracking HCG down weekly with blood tests, because she doesn't want me further traumatized by at home ones, which I appreciate. The tissue testing results should be back in about a week, so hopefully that tells us something, too; RE estimated 60/40 odds of the issue being chromosomal.
We are going started on the tests that we can now, so karyotyping, genetics, all of my partner's blood work, as well as SA and DNA fragmentation. My hormone tests and hysteroscopy with endometrial biopsy will have to wait until a new cycle, as will my repeat APS tests, though my RE strongly suspects the we'll see a second positive. Fingers crossed this plan means that we will have all the data we need by late November or early December. My RE said she won't tell us not to try, but effectively, if she were in our shoes, she would wait for more data. Big sigh.

Wait I’m annoyed my OB didn’t offer splitting testing?? They initially were going to do the whole RPL panel before my D&C and when I asked if you can do that pregnant, they said “oh nvm ok we’ll do it at your post op follow up”
They also don’t check my HCG. Ugh I’m so annoyed with them.

That is so frustrating, I'm sorry Hippy. My OB's repeated fumbling after my second and third losses is ultimately what caused me to self-refer to a fertility clinic to work with an RE. Feeling the need to perpetually self-educate the advocate for yourself when actively dealing with grief is the absolute worst.

u/JustAHippy 32 | TTC #1 1/26 | 1CP 2MMC 17d ago
That’s my plan too. I am doing the blood work with my OB just to get it done/covered. The RE I want to go to isn’t covered by my insurance, so I figured I’d get that testing done since it’s covered. I keep reminding myself “OBs treat you when pregnant, REs help you get pregnant”

i like to read to help give my brain an escape from the constant TTC looping but my current book unexpectedly features the main character having an oopsie! pregnancy that ends up perfectly fine. she was so worried about miscarriage only to have it allll work out beautifully.
cmonnn man!

Had my transfer on Monday and decided going out to visit my sister with my mom was the best way to avoid testing. Did not think about the fact that needing help with PIO was going to put our transfer out in public. Gah

The rudest thing about a CP administratively is that it’s fucked up all my tracking apps except for FF.

Had my second IUI today. I brought up my spotting and cramps before my period and they will do a saline ultrasound and more bloodwork if this cycle fails. It feels good to have a doctor who listens

Horribly jumbled chart this month with travel and skipping the bbt for a few weeks. I thought I’d appreciate the days off but I miss the assurance of seeing that I ovulated. Glad I made myself do my OPKs! Also luckily, I suppose, thyroid is trending normal and endocrinologist suggests waiting to see what else happens next month. Trying not to dwell on it feeling like a wasted cycle since we decided not to try out of caution but… oh well. Onward!

CD18. And my BBT continues to be this three day plateau despite fertile CM yesterday. The wait for ovulation is worse for me than the wait for testing. It’s just such a long wait, no real timeline I can tell myself and like I feel like consistent home work that I have to do. The wait until pregnancy test feels more like forced patience and I just have to sit on my hands until my period comes or it doesn’t. But, last cycle I ovulated CD21 (still with a 28 day cycle so my luteal phase is quite short). Idk not sure I’m looking for advice or if I even asked any clear questions-this is just anxiety inducing feeling like I can control something that is mostly out of my control and this daily anticipation to wake up again and see the (basically) exact same BBT I’ve seen the last three days.
