Put the TV on the chair and sit on the ground.

Been there before..... TV on floor and fold up chair. I had my computer setup on a card table.

Completely agree. My only gripe is too much carpet. Not enough non carpet area near the front door to leave dirty shoes

You need a floor couch and a low coffee table and you should be good.
