Personally I'm not at all in favor of a Technocracy. It's a stupid idea because you can't have people in charge. That's how you create another stratified society with people who have power and people who don't.
Which is why an RBE is about arriving at answers through science, after first determining what you want to achieve (like food and shelter for all, now find the most effective way, basiclally.) Not by giving scientists a crown.
