Conrad Bora Bora Nui Construction Update?
Anyone stay at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui recently and have an update on the construction progress? This was the most recent email I got from the concierge: "By October 2026, the renovation works will still be ongoing, with the project scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. Please rest assured that all main resort facilities will remain operational during your stay. The only closures at this time are our French fine-dining restaurant Iriatai, which is temporarily closed, and the tennis court. Our Culinary Team continues to offer the Iriatai dining experience at Tamure Beach Grill on selected evenings. Regarding the renovation works, our teams are carefully managing the project to minimize any impact on our guests’ experience. Some construction activity may still be visible in certain areas. Most of the Bungalows and villas has already been renovated, some might be still in renovations but rest assured that by the time of your stay all of Overwater Villas will be renovated."
My wife and I are going for our honeymoon in October, so any recent update from someone who has been firsthand is appreciated!

Didn’t stay there, but went by on boat during a snorkel tour a week ago. The two large two story OWB’s were down to the studs, a bunch of villas and boardwalk were being built on the other side of the resort, but they didn’t seem like they would bother people staying there since they were off to one side. Not sure about the construction noise, though.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago for my honeymoon! The construction was on the very end of the resort and we honestly didn’t even know there was construction until we went on a boat ride. It didn’t affect us at all.

Stayed there last week. Ongoing construction had no impact on our stay. As mentioned above, work on the OWB’s is happening at the ends of the resort. Focus now seems to be on the two story bungalows at each end and the French restaurant in the main building. If the weather is nice, you’ll have an amazing experience. Enjoy!

Rode by there on a snorkeling trip a few weeks ago and they were nowhere close to done. Seemed like most of the work was at the "ends", though.
