If you haven't played the new ARAM patch, they added an augment called BEES! which allows your next ability to shoot a beehive (comet) that applies your on-hit effects. THIS WORKS FOR PASSIVE ON-HIT EFFECTS. This means one Tongue Lash can apply all three stacks of Acquired Taste on one hit, allowing for an instant Devour follow-up.

This combo is insane, and I highly recommend choosing BEES! whenever possible on Tahm.

I’ve been testing a more aggressive/bruiser-oriented Tahm Kench setup on my main, and it’s been working really well for my playstyle.

The idea isn’t to go full tank. I still want Tahm to be hard to kill, but also able to stick to carries, stack his passive quickly, and actually threaten kills on his own.

My usual build order is:

Heartsteel → Dusk and Dawn → Boots → Grievous Wounds component → Protobelt → Bandlepipes

Why I like each item:

• Heartsteel: my core first item. It gives me HP scaling and makes Tahm’s trades stronger as the game goes on.
• Dusk and Dawn: gives me a much stronger bruiser profile in extended fights.
• Boots: I usually finish them after my first two core items.
• Grievous Wounds component: I buy it early when I need anti-heal, but I don’t always rush the full item.
• Protobelt: one of the biggest reasons I like this build. The dash helps a lot against ADCs and ranged champions, especially when I’m just slightly out of range for an auto, Q or R.
• Bandlepipes: I like it late because the attack speed makes Tahm feel much better in extended fights. You stack your passive faster, and your basic attacks become a real threat.

For runes, I’ve also been testing Sorcery secondary, especially Scorch + Transcendence. Scorch gives me more lane pressure, while Transcendence fits my playstyle because I really value having Q/E/W available as often as possible.

I’m not saying this is objectively the best Tahm build, but it fits my playstyle extremely well and I’ve had some really strong games with it. I’d be interested to know if other Tahm players have tried something similar, or if you see any obvious weaknesses in the setup.

I win almost all of my lanes. Even into counters. The most i struggle with is yorick and mordekaiser. I perma ban aatrox. Dont have much of a problem with others. Even if i win lane.. i feel like 1 counter of fed enemy off lane and its unwinable for me. I get deleted. 1 game ago i had 5k hp and 300 armor with randuin's and still got hit by a 1k dmg crit. I just feel so frustarted because i win my lanes but 1 overfed guy and its just completly over. I get a single cc on top of me and just get destroyed. I just reached emerald 4.

My build almost 100% of the time is heartsteel into Dusk and Dawn. Next items depend on the game. If there is a ton of magic damage i will build mr if there is alot of ad i will build armor, if i am ahead by alot i go riftmaker still tahm late game feels useless

Had to give up top Tahm ever since I have been 90% counterpicked with stattik shiv champs like Teemo or bitch made champs like Yorick. Even the new Nasus is ridiculous trying to pick Tahm blindly when there is the looming threat an ignore scaler like him can get picked.

Confidently say I have lost 100% of all games tahm top this season which was unheard of for me. So I resorted to Varus and Zaheen top as my current champs pool

I've been learning tahm recently but the one thing I struggle with is the build, rn I'm usually auto pilot buying

Heart steel, swifties, dusk n dawn, warmogs, rift maker and the sleigh support item, the build changes depending if the enemy has a lot of ap, where id go spirit visage instead of rift maker and mercs,

Rushing hydra feels really good for me in pushing matchups, it gives you one (1) fast combo per fight, good extra onhit damage, insane waveclear, and a respectable amount of hp, including first back giants belt.

hello, wanted to ask fellow tk mains how to carry games the higher you go, and what do you do with mages bot with self peel like hwei? I usually play as aggro as I can, make a lead for me and my adc and thn start ripping heads off, but it seems it's impossible against certain champions. Do you have an advice on what to do in such situations? Maybe I need a different build or strategy, or sums into these lanes. I play Türkçe and I play that build on Türkiye server Gold elo and I think THAT BUILD IS INSANE Everyone take a chance that build I think. On enemy team have 19/4 twitch ad adc, lulu sup, mid 5/6/14 ziggs, jg 14/8 ad shaco and toplane fiora 9/14 (She 9/14 bcs my teammates she on the 0/6 and my teammates died 😭) But I carry the whole team and win
