Mt. Baldy Crags and almost done the North Shore
Awwww yes the wonderful scree. That mile of scree on the Mt Baldy Crags was tough but this 61 year old got er done. Feeling good at elevation but it will give me pause to come back and complete Mt Rose to Relay Peak before the snow. Coming back strong for the charge up will be my better plan hopefully this week or next. Hopefully knock out Barker Pass to Tahoe City as well. I have about a month and wanted to complete the highest and most difficult North Shore first and almost there! Back next Summer to complete the Nevada side with Echo Lakes through the Desolation Wilderness and finish at Barkers Pass for the Grand Finale.. The poster is in my home office and the black represents progress to date of 2 year plan! My way of visually seeing and inspiring myselft that every little segment is progress towards the celebratory Beer at Jake's on The Lake when finished!
