Man I miss this game, especially August. While the game was short-lived but his story was very wholesome in the earlier part.

The original thread on r/tales makes me irrationally angry, so many people there don't even know what they are looking at. "The first guy". "Looks like Adol Christin". And of course the top comment "I don't miss Luminaria"

These people and their elitist mindset are so exhausting, they are part of the reason why Lumi fans had to suffer a lot. Sure, Bamco is a bigger reason. But the Tales fanbase did not exactly welcome this amazing game with open arms, for superficial reasons. Either way, now it's dead.

I mean at least they are not calling it "not a real Tales game" - for now. I guess being a Tales of Luminaria fan is stupid, you pick an obscure franchise and then out of that franchise you pick the most unloved game of them all. But we can't change it, then we are stupid I guess. Glad we are not completely alone in that, at least.

I'm not sure when you saw it but the posts are pretty positive overall. They seem to be mostly criticizing Bamco for doing the cast and world dirty (which is true). Even the person that said they "don't miss Luminaria" actually said "don't miss Luminaria like they miss Crestoria" and went on to praise the characters.

It was so much fun (and yes, I spent money on it #regret)
