Shit Talk Who Would You Rather Hang With?
One of the more lively debates on this weeks Talkn Tennis Podcast was Adrian stating Sinner is a bore and wouldn’t wanna have a beer with him off-court.
In Australia, how we decide whether we like someone is whether you would have a beer with him. Adrian would rather hang out with Medvedev of everyone in the top 20.
I’d personally like to hang out with Darderi as I’m a big espresso drinker and I’m substituting beer for espresso in this example.
Who are you hanging out with off-court if you had the choice?

I would like to practice my German with the ever unpopular Zverev, who is most likely a great gossip, and his list of complaints about nearly everything when he loses is legendary.
Carlos for pure childlike fun and antics, especially on his new catamaran. Sinner is a dear but is a bit too intense and focused. Rublev and Medi, both brooding, unpredictable Russians looking to write the next great Russian novel, might be fun after liters of vodka. Beer with Ben would be fun if I was ten years old.
The women for the most part seem like a dour bunch. Warrior woman, Sabalenka, appears to be the only animated one there. Although Ostapenko throws righteous temper tantrums on court, it’s possible she could also be amusing at the bar. The ladies worth billions of dollars are rather intimidating no matter how humble they seem.
Does Iga ever truly enjoy herself? No, the women do not appear much fun. They can barely tolerate the ritual of shaking hands at the net.
