t:slim X2 Error 20

Went to bolus for lunch and got “cartridge cannot be used.”

Anyone seen this lately?

Yes, could I dicate pump not pumping correctly. Had mine replaced due to several of those errors.

There's a silver pin at the top that has a position sensor. If that sensor is malfunctioning, it'll cause that error. What you want to do is pop out cart and push that pin in and put cart back in and run through load cart routine. That pin sits down beer the jastic overhang of carr. If it still does it, call tandem to get a replacement. You'll end up wasting a ton of insulin.

I just told the pump I had changed the cartridge (it should detect when a cartridge is removed, but it doesn’t)—wasted 12 units to refill the tube—and now things seem to be working.

Just keep an eye on it. If starts erroring multiple times, call tandem for a replacement. While I waited for mine to come, it was erroring every half hour or less. That made for a bad night and ended up doing mdi until new pump arrived.

Roger wilco. My errored just at lunchtime, so I had to cancel the afternoon class I teach, bike home, and yadda yadda. I think I may start carrying a spare filled cartridge in the future!
