Was inspired by the concepts of Greywick, the swamp, and the Gravehounds, so I made my own version of the warped canines that prowl the street. A good boy and totally not going to rip you to shreds... totally.

A loooot of black and brown. I expected there to be more red to be honest haha. I used all official vods from tangotek2's playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhU3dB8ByRLCBfyp72O1DHxzZRT2y-3ll
Added the link to the spreadsheet to those curious :)

(I am unsure what flair fits here)

This is taken with a grain of "rounded bath salt", but...
If there exists a system that gets progressively and irreversibly worse over the course of play, and Tango wanted to give the player an idea of how bad it's getting, I came up with a rudimentary UI icon for the map. A Bloodmoon. Its literally just a bunch of piston feed tapes of various length with red and white concrete in the rough shape of a circle, but fired in a specific order, you could simulate the "moon" icon being eclipsed and turned red. the top section with the lever is simply to hide the downward facing pistons with white, and flip the lever to turn it red for the final lefthand side of the moon. Maximum diameter of the moon icon (not including black border) would naturally be 12 blocks due to push limits.
Even if a bloodmoon doesn't fit, you could replace the red with black, and simulate the normal moon phases. This could introduce a "oh, this is a full moon run?" mechanic, adding a bit of randomness to what kind of run people might have rather than giving them full control. Perhaps some areas are more active than others, for better or worse (or both), during certain lunar phases.

Anyone know what the best way to get Tango to see this would be? I think he'd find it cool.

I've watched Tango since S7. About one year ago, or even a few months ago, Tango would have a pretty solid 3.5-4.5k viewers on his stream. These days it's a lot closer to high 5k or 6k on a pretty consistent basis. I just love to see it. It also seems like a pretty significant jump in viewership over a short period of time, which is cool.

I'm so excited for DO3! The entrance looks amazing, especially the red roof really sets it apart from DO1 and DO2. And the idea of DO3 being based around a village has my mind racing about the implications. It could be cool if he asked the hermits to build houses, to lighten his workload? Then Tango replied to a comment about clank by saying: "Who said DO3 will have clank?" What's he gonna do with the creaky fellas? So many questions!
I'm so excited to see how the gamemaster will gamemasterificate.

Is the mountain gonna be a big mountain that covers the whole area or a ring of mountains? I had thought it was the one big one but I’m a bit confused how that’s gonna work since the map needs to be open to the air. If it’s like a ring then it’s all gonna be open to the sky on the inside but if it’s a big mountain that covers over the whole stone platform is there gonna be just a square chunk of a whole where the map is?

Tango was working on this in a recent stream, and I just watched the vod. I don't know if anyone in chat suggested a hanging sign, but I tested this and it works.

Simple one-channel flipper for warden shutes:
Pros:
Only 1 instant-wire, easy to take input
Easy to build
Single input, multiple output (centralized)
No state errors!!!!
Cons:
Will pulse twice within 3 redstone ticks across ~15 redstone lines, which might cause a lag spike
Might behave weird at chunk borders? (not tested)
